Cons:
Carpets - continence issues, unhygienic
1 page profile incomplete after a week of arrival
No bath or shower in 5 days - getting to know him approach takes far too long.
Clothing issues - missing or wearing someone else's (with failing sight he's unable to see what is not his).

Thank you for your review, we value all feedback which helps us to improve our service where required. At HC-One Ltd and The Orchard Care Centre we pride ourselves on delivering the kindest person-centred care. Moving from one care setting to another can be emotionally challenging for all parties involved therefore our approach is to ease the Resident into the care home environment at a pace they are comfortable with. Our Residents are able to voice their opinions and feelings and feel confident that the staff will listen and respect their wishes whilst having the Residents health and wellbeing at the forefront of care delivery. In order to maintain a homely atmosphere in the Home, carpets are preferred to vinyl and staff try their utmost to keep on top of odours and this is reviewed throughout the day. Senior staff attend relative, Resident and staff meetings when possible and feedback can be given instantly by completing the Have Your Say Feedback tablet which is located in the reception area. All submissions from this are disseminated to the wider team for action as appropriate.
