Fairview Care Home, located in the attractive residential area of Bannockburn, provides personalised nursing and nursing dementia care to older people.

The home offers many comfortable areas to relax and socialise, especially in the onsite café. The enhanced wellbeing programme allows residents to partake in hobbies and interests within the home. Fairview also boasts a selection of specially designed dining areas where the catering team offer a varied and nutritious menu for residents to enjoy.

The professional care team at Fairview takes the time to get to know residents, supporting them to live a happy and fulfilled life. In addition to the range of activities available, residents are also supported to engage with the Bannockburn community, whether it's building relationships with neighbours in local community groups and schools or taking trips out to visit local businesses and amenities.

It is difficult to give a very accurate review as we have had very few visits in the last year due to Covid. The staff are always friendly, helpful and are very good and patient with Dad. It has been a challenging year for everyone. The skype calls have been great for keeping in touch with Dad and we
are very thankful to the staff for that. I think we feel that perspex pods or the like could have been introduced to enable more visits.

Although my review may seem to be negative. I do understand how difficult it is to be a carer, a business and a resident. I have mainly given 'good' as a result but I would like to see some areas improved like the meals being more detailed to residents and staff (some) to improve their understanding
of the elderly. You have all done well this past year but some let it down.

We encourage resident and relative feedback on our meals and menus and your mum is very helpful with this, and is happy to suggest different options which we are grateful for. In addition, the catering staff are always happy to provide an alternative dish to what is on the menu in accordance with resident requests. All staff receive training which is updated annually regarding caring for elderly residents, however, if you think that there are any specific areas that should be included please let us know. I am pleased to see that you are likely to recommend Fairview to others and our thanks again for your comments.

My sister is really well looked after, all the staff continues to do a great job. I am always kept informed and my sister's well-being and get regular updates and phone calls. All staff does a great job. Activities are great with daily activities. My sister is very safe, secure at Fairview and she enjoys

It has been a difficult year for both staff and residents. Being unable to visit for long periods of time hasn't been easy, but I have been kept well informed of my dad's health and wellbeing, and I am very appreciative of everything Fairview do and the excellent care they provide.

Our mother recently went into Fairview during very difficult times. Staff are nothing but professional, treating all residents with dignity. Unfortunately, ours was a sad end due to ill health. Thank you for the staff for keeping mum safe from the virus and other residents in the home. Brilliant in organising Skype and phone calls to communicate with my mum. Also, staff giving us updates on how she is. For the extra help in celebrating mums birthday which was during lockdown. Disappointed
that mums hearing aid is missing and find it difficult to communicate with her.

My mother has been a resident in this home for 18 mths. I visit almost every day so I am able to give a very good opinion. My mother is cared for to a very high standard, is always clean and hair is always done. My mother is in a happy caring environment.
