Henderson House Care Home in Dalgety Bay, Fife, provides person-centred care around the clock, including nursing and dementia. The care home prides itself on creating a safe and welcoming environment where residents can feel at home, supported by experienced and dedicated staff.

The home boasts 60 en-suite bedrooms furnished to the highest standard, two main lounge and dining rooms as well as four smaller lounges to relax. Mature gardens and woodlands surround the home, giving plenty of opportunities to get some fresh air.

Serving good food is paramount and residents are served nutritious and tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.

I looked after my Husband for over 8 years with dementia, a triple bypass and 2 strokes, but after another stroke last year, which rendered him to be hoisted everywhere and incapable of feeding or doing anything for himself. I chose the home because the staff were really good with the patients without
exception. I have no complaints on any front. He enjoys the food that is specially made for him, he reacts favourable to all the staff and regarding his hygiene, he is looked after very well. I visit regularly and can see he enjoys being here and I have no complaints about his welfare.

My experience of the care home in Henderson House is excellent. Everyone is very caring, helpful and makes us visiting our family a pleasure, they keep us informed of anything that happens. Could not ask for a better care home or staff and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a place
for friends or family to reside in.

We, as a family, are immensely happy about the care my Dad receives at Henderson House Care Home. We would and could not have picked a better place for him, the staff are exceptional and really care about the residents and that is important for a good life for him. The staff keep up updated about any
medical problems, he is happy there and that's the main thing. The management, also, are very helpful at all times and all the staff are like one happy family and all deserve a medal.

Liam Duncan

Job Title: Care Home Manager

I have been in the care sector for 10 years, I started my career as a Care Assistant in 2012 then progressed to Senior care assistant within the same year. I had the passion and drive and wanted to challenge myself so I applied to become a Deputy Manager for a large local provider. I was in this role for 9 months I then was appointed as a Care Manager where I built and developed a successful care service.


During this time I worked on building strong community links and also opened a pub within the grounds of the care home. I joined Henderson House in January 2022 as Interim Care Manager I have a passion for providing person-centred care. I have a real passion for staff development and strive to support and empower all my staff. I would like my Residents and Relatives to know that I operate an open-door policy.

Anne Masterton

Job Title: Deputy Manager

My name is Anne Masterton and I have worked at Henderson House since 2014. My previous background was in palliative care and I worked with Marie Curie for 17 years. Transferring my skills to Henderson House has allowed staff to learn and develop their skills in palliative and end-of-life care.


I thoroughly love spending time on the floor caring for residents and their families and working closely with the care staff. I am passionate about delivering a high standard of care to each resident and ensuring families are kept up to date with care needs.

Hannah brings with her a background in retail for over a year and administration for over ten years with a particular interest in customer service. When not working, Hannah is involved in religious voluntary work within the community of Fife including construction projects!

I am Kessie Cabatingan-Omnos, born and raised in Philippines. I have been a qualified nurse since 2012, been working as a Theatre and Neonatal Intensive Nurse for 6 years.


In June 2019, decided to move here to Scotland and work at Henderson House. Working in a care home setting is something new to me, but I am absolutely loving this change of environment. I am delighted to share my time and expertise in giving care to our lovely residents at Henderson House Care Home.

I have worked at Henderson House care home for 19 years, during this time I have gained my SVQ 2 & 3 and also been involved in various amount of training and relevant topics to ensure that I can meet the needs of the residents I care for.
during my time at Henderson House I have worked in various roles such as 3 years as the activities coordinator, I then became a care assistant and progressed to a senior care assistant, my main goal and inspiration are to ensure that all residents at Henderson House receive the best possible person-centred care and that they enjoy there stay here with us.

I'm Caroline and I've worked at Henderson for over 4 years on the night shift. I was delighted to accept the opportunity to become a Senior at the beginning of the year and am thoroughly enjoying my new role. Henderson House is a warm and friendly place to be, there's always a smile when you walk through the door and an excellent support network when required. I have the pleasure of working with some amazing individuals who make up this formidable team!

My name is Susan Cruickshank and I work currently as the chef at Henderson House.


I have worked at Henderson House for over 15 years, my main role is to ensure that the residents in the care home are served and presented with high-nutritional foods and that we can accommodate any dietary requirements.
I have a passion for ensuring that the residents are involved in the structure and development of their care home menus so that we are able to make every effort to meet the needs and wishes of our residents.

My name is Lana, I have worked in Henderson House for 24 years, my career started as a care assistant, before moving to the housekeeping department in 2008 after returning back from maternity leave after having my son.


I love working at Henderson House and couldn't see myself working anywhere else which shows in a number of years with the home, spending time with the resident's chatting with family and friends is what makes Henderson House a great place to work.


My hobbies include walking my dog, reading and spending time with my family.
