As a care home, I believe that Lomond Court Care Home cannot be improved. All staff - management, catering, cleaners and activities are of a high standard.


Dietary needs are understood by not only catering staff but also by those delivering the meals. Laundry needs are also fully met with a prompt

and efficient service. Residents are encouraged (but never forced) to take part in activities organised and run through the 'wellbeing' coordinator. This includes all on-site activities but extends to a wide variety of off-site activities provided. In summary and in my view Lomond Court Care Home cannot be surpassed.

I went to the home three times a week and meet most of the staff and all the patients are treated with respect. My wife has been in the home for one year and I have no complaints.

Bedroom door did not close properly thus allowing

other dementia residents to enter at will. This posed a risk to my bed-ridden and immobile sister.

The manager has her office at the entrance, therefore, sees all comings and goings. Always available for consultation. Knows the patients by name as does all the staff even the kitchen staff. The carers respond to all questions, are ready to assist when required. They are aware of likes and dislikes
of their changes and this is essential in dementia - Alzheimer's patients.
The staff are patient, calm, no raised voices, sit with the patients in the afternoon and talk with them. The garden has plenty of seats for admiring the flowers - well laid out. Front of house is welcoming - again floral arrangements to attract the eye. No objectionable smell on entry.

I feel that my mum is being well cared for. The staff are very attentive to her needs. When I visit, the staff are friendly and professional. They spend time with my mum and know her well, so they care for her in the best way. I thank them for their hard work and appreciate what they do.

My wife and I found the standards at Lomond Court Care Home to be excellent. The residents were happy, clean and well cared for. The staff are brilliant and very involved. Food good cleanliness good. Management very good.

My husband sadly passed away on the 18th January 2017 after two and a half years in Lomond Court Care Home. Throughout this time the staff were always caring, kind and thoughtful to myself and family keeping us updated with his health and comfort. Every member of staff from cleaners, carers, medical
and entertainment staff always had a kind word and smile whenever they saw us. During his last few days, the care given to him and myself was remarkable. I am so glad that I was confident that he was being so well looked.

The staff at Lomond Court were amazing with my dad. They treated him with care and dignity and made him feel comfortable in his last few months. The staff were very supportive to us all as a family. They made us feel welcome whenever we were in to see dad. We couldn't have asked for our dad to be treated
any better than he was.

My sister was in Lomond Court Care Home for only a short time, before unfortunately she was transferred to a psychiatric facility. However we were very impressed by the admission procedure, the help relatives were given with moving my sister in and the overall care and kindness. When it quickly became
apparent that my sister needed further care, Lomond Court dealt with her situation kindly and professionally, all the while keeping relatives informed. If it is ever possible, we would be very happy for her to return there.

When we visited the home looking on behalf of my mother, the management and staff provided straight forward information about the home. Having been escorted round the home we witnessed day to day duties being carried out by staff, rooms, kitchens, cleaners, activity rooms and in general a good overall
account of themselves. My mother has been a resident under nursing care for the past 6 months. All her needs have been provided, she has settled without any hassle. All information we require is provided and their door is always open to offer support to all my family and my mother.

The manager is extremely switched on, approachable and supports ideas and input from relatives. My father settled well from the beginning in Lomond Court, after being unhappy in three other residential/nursing homes previously. the home has a relaxed and confident feel which I'm sure feeds through
to the residents. I would recommend Lomond Care to other families. It has certainly worked well for ours. the new refurbishments are just the icing on the cake.

When my mother came to this home, she was a frightened, underweight lady. Now she smiles, responds to those around her. I never come in and find her distressed. She has gained weight and is well looked after.
I have only praise for the level of care and the kindness she is shown on a daily basis.
Her room is welcoming and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely atmosphere throughout.

My experience of Lomond Court has been extremely positive. The staff are very friendly and know who I am when I visit. They are always polite and respect privacy when I visit. They are very caring and attentive to all the residents needs. All are approachable and always able to answer any queries I
may have. The home is always clean and free of any odours. The staff are all neat and tidy. All the residents look clean and well cared for. I like that all the staff wear uniforms. I am always kept well informed of any updates. I have no negative points to make. Excellent care home.
