Angusfield House Care Home provides nursing, dementia, and palliative care and is located in Aberdeen's West End, close to shops and public transport.

Residents are less than two miles from the city centre and just half a mile from Hazelhead Park.

This attractive building has been adapted as a nursing home and has a purpose-built extension that provides nursing and social care.

Accommodation at Angusfield House is provided in single occupancy rooms, some of which are spacious enough for sharing.

Angusfield House features TV lounges and a quiet sitting room for relaxation and separate dining rooms, where residents can socialise at meal times are also available.

Traditional home cooking using fresh produce is served with residents being able to select from the choices available daily. Special diets can be catered for.

A good range of activities are offered for residents. The home can arrange for chiropody and dental services if required. Regular visits are made to the home by an experienced hair stylist.

Always a great experience compared with the last care home. All staff lovely and helpful. My grandma is always well cared for here which is a big weight off the family. Angusfield House Care Home is the best place you could ever wish for. The management and staff go above and beyond to care for my mother and also myself. I never have to worry about my mother as she is treated like family and gets the highest of care. Nothing is ever a problem, and the manager is always
available if I have any concerns - one lady treats my mother as if she was her own mother - the care she gives is amazing, she is an asset to the home.

In view of the pandemic, hand sanitiser on arrival, provided apron and mask, went to a separate room for lateral flow test, waited for 30-mins for results - negative. Went to the resident's room for a visit. All very well organised and I felt safe.

Absolutely love Angusfield Care Home. The staff couldn't be any kinder or friendlier. They are genuinely caring and compassionate, as is the manager. His door is always open if we need anything or just a chat. My dad has been at Angusfield for just over two years. He arrived pretty frail with a lot
of medical needs. However, thanks to all the staff's patience he can now walk unaided safely, which he couldn't before. He no longer looks frail - he has put plenty of weight on. There's always something going on - the activities ladies are amazing. My dad even goes swimming! If you are looking for a care home which provides truly individualised care, then definitely have a look at Angusfield. I can't praise it enough.

I find Angusfield House clean. The staff are always busy and, if necessary happy to speak with me about my friend, who was determined to completely dislike the care home.
She would still like to be in her own home, which she expresses to the staff, but always finishes her statement with, "however
I am very well looked after, and the staff are kind". Therefore, what I imagined to be a very difficult transition for my friend, due to the care she receives, she has managed to cope with her new environment and she has been a resident now for 18 months.

Bob

Bob Fenwick

Job Title: Home Manager

Bob has been working in care for over 20 years. He is a registered psychiatric nurse and a registered general nurse who has long-term service within care. Following graduating from university, he worked as a nursing assistant in a psychiatric hospital. He enjoyed it so much that he decided that this would be his career. He loves building a good team as he believes this is the foundation of excellent care.


Outside of work he is an avid cyclist and loves listening to music. Some of Bob’s proudest and most impressive achievements include parachuting out of a plane, white water rafting down the Zambezi River and seeing the sunrise on top of Mount Sinai. He is a firm believer in facing problems head-on and getting things done.
