My mother and father have been very happy in Deeside Care Home. They are well looked after, showered daily and clothes changed daily too.
Food is varied and nutritious. Mum and dad enjoy it.
There are lots of activities going on which mum enjoys immensely. Cinema and hair salon are huge hits.

During the few months my mother was a resident in Deeside she was treated with kindness, respect and dignity and soon began to look upon it as her own home. The friendly staff knew her well and were particularly keen to ensure she was happy and comfortable in the final stages of her life. My family
and I always felt very welcome and the approachable staff greeted us with a smile and the offer of a cup of tea and biscuits.

The staff at the home made the transition for my father as easy as possible, recognising that he wasn't always happy to be there at first. When I go to the home I notice that all the staff know Dad by name and they know about his family and situation. They know what he likes to do, his routines and
even how he likes his tea. The home has a lovely routine of day trips and special events and Dad especially likes the church services that come to the home each week. The home has good connections with medical services and responds quickly if there is a problem. I live abroad and the home keeps me posted on how things are going. They will also print out an email or set up a Skype call for me. The staff are always friendly and warm. When I visit the home I have a meeting with the head carer to go over Dad's care plan and discuss any special needs that he has. He is extremely well cared for and really feels at home now and I am very glad of that.

My wife was in this home for more than six years and during all that time I found it extremely well run and providing excellent care to all residents. The staff are excellent and friendly making relatives welcome at all times and providing all support in difficult situations. The management and staff
are very professional and caring and take a personal interest in the relatives well-being. Good quality of food and high standards of cleaning ensure a pleasant and happy environment
Could not find any points to criticise in all the six years. An excellent and well-run home.
