Manor Care Centre offer personalised nursing care for people with a physical, neurological or learning disabilities, including those with acquired brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis or Huntington’s disease.

The centre is divided into three units, each catering for various needs such as long-term, short-term and respite care and rehabilitation.

The purpose built home offers 43 fully furnished en-suite bedrooms and has built up an enviable reputation in both the local and wider community for its high-quality care, including the latest assistive technology to support the mobility and care of residents.

They are committed to developing a positive and happy home where people enjoy living and working. To ensure residents continue to have an active social life, regular trips in the minibus are organised to the local shops, theatre or to take part in local events and activities. They also offer a variety of tailored activities in the centre so residents can continue to enjoy hobbies.

Their landscaped gardens are safe, secure and easily accessible, providing an attractive area to sit and relax or enjoy a spot of gardening.

Care staff are trained to the highest standards and are on hand 24-hours a day to provide professional care that respects the rights and dignity of residents, as well as full medical support from specialist nurses trained in Huntington’s, Epilepsy and learning disabilities.

The home lies on the beautiful Moray Firth coast in Nairn in the Scottish Highlands, a short journey from Inverness.

After the passing of my uncle's mother, I had to look for a suitable care home for his needs. I knew of the Manor Care Centre and was lucky to get a room for my uncle 2 days before lockdown started due to the covid pandemic. The staff have all been amazing and helped my uncle settle in from day 1. They
have been great at updating me on my uncle through the pandemic and did video calls to keep in touch which was amazing. Couldn’t have honestly found a better place to suit his needs very happy with the high standard of care he receives.

Job Title: Care Home Manager

Here at the Manor, our aim is to provide a warm welcome to you all create a desirable care home for you to live and work in and promote and guide you to the best quality of life that you deserve.


We have a successful knowledgeable core staff team who promote, empower and engage with others in a passionate, kind and caring manner.


The manor offers a range of services for younger adults from daily activities, and social skills, to promoting independence and engaging with the wider community and other businesses. We have access to an array of professionals who all assist us to make your life more enjoyable and our key focus is to be as person-centred as we can. We are all unique in our own ways.


We have access to the best nutritional advice to aid different conditions, we specialise in Huntington’s, MS, Neurological illnesses, palliate care, epilepsy and learning disabilities. We have a learning and development team who work tirelessly to ensure our staff team has access to the latest and up-to-date guidance and regularly promotes them.


At Manor Care Centre, we dedicate time to supporting our residents in reaching their goals. We go the extra mile to ensure that we provide a happy and nurturing environment for this to be possible.


We have an excellent team of staff who take the time to know and understand the needs of each individual resident. We have on-site transportation with wheelchair accessibility and organise regular trips out of the home. Our community outreach programmes also help our residents to socialise with and feel a part of the local community.


Our home is purpose-built for specialist needs as it is all ground level and our automatic doors allow for greater mobility. A number of our rooms also have living room and kitchenette units to encourage independent living and we have recently added a gazebo and a wheelchair swing to our offering.


What’s more, residents have the opportunity to meet and help take care of our resident dog, who enjoys making friends with everyone it meets.
