Sadly we have had an occasions recently where a planned entertainer who was scheduled to come to the home had to cancel last minute, we understand how disappointing this can be and our activities team will always try to replace the planned activity for something else as quickly as possible. Hi, my name is Mary, and I am the Community Manager of our Fir Hill Community. In 1975, I started working as a healthcare assistant at 17 years old and was originally from the islands of Scotland.
I worked as a registered nurse with the NHS before moving to Canada. I have 30-plus years of experience working in care homes.
I started at Four Hills in April 2023 as a staff nurse before being promoted to unit manager. The response I have had from the Fir Hill community has been excellent, and it has been an honour to work with. The residents are the heart of the community.

Hi, I am Amy Maganya. I joined Barchester as a nurse in 2020 and was promoted to Unit Manager in May 2023. I strongly believe in kind, compassionate care for our residents.

Annie joined Four Hills in 2014 in the Laundry department before moving to the front-of-house in Jun 2015. After Annie's hard work and continuous support to the home, Annie was promoted to Administrator in February 2022.
Annie loves to interact with residents and families and does not only a great job at supporting our residents but our staff too.

Eileen joined the Four Hills Family in 1999 and has worked in various roles since. Eileen originally started as a Kitchen Assistant, then moved on to Domestic, before moving on to her current role as Activities Assistant since 2017.
Eileen loves to bring joy to residents' lives by putting on meaningful and engaging activities. From in-house entertainment to trips out, our Activities team always have something going on to keep our residents engaged and stimulated.
