We reported this to you straight away, and to Adult Support and Protection who have now investigated and closed the case. Unfortunately a Care Home stay does not eradicate the risk of falls completely, however it is not a common occurrence so when it does happen we are sure to follow all of the correct procedures as we did on this occasion. Thank you very much for your review and for your complimentary comment about our kind and supportive staff. Your feedback is valuable to us as we strive to achieve and maintain high standards in all aspects of our service. We are happy to let you know that over the last month we have not been required to use any day agency staff in Craigpark House, we have several new experienced permanent recruits and have been operating on a high ratio of staff to Residents. Hopefully, on your next visit, this will be evident. We also have a new head chef on board who has made a lot of improvements and we are now receiving very positive feedback around the quality and choice of food served. Your sister often asks for alternatives to our daily menus which we are happy to provide. All new recruits complete a wide range of in-house and external training on induction and training is ongoing throughout their service with new compulsory courses being added regularly.
