Our Dad has been a resident in Cumbernauld Care Home since the beginning of January, we had concerns about how he would settle, however he has settled in brilliantly. The staff looking after him daily are caring, kind and treat him with dignity, respect and compassion, this also goes for our Mum who
was our Dads main carer for a number of years and visits almost daily, the staff have welcomed her from the beginning, they have a coffee together, she gets detailed updates every day and the staff even got her a valentines card from our Dad! These wee touches make all the difference. The safety and security, such as having the sensor on the bed means he has his independence to do what he wants but the safety aspect is also there. The responses to any health concerns or emergencies in relation to his health have been first class. Management & care team seem responsive, open to suggestions, honest, realistic & knowledgeable. Thank you to all of the staff!

My Mum had to go into full time care as a resident in Cumbernauld Care Home her entry to the home was first class I felt completely reassured after just a couple of weeks. My mum has been a resident now for 13 months and she has settled down well even calling it home sweet home. The Manager has been
wonderful with me and gave great care and support. The staff are all caring not just with physical needs but with emotional needs , showing effect ion and genuine care. Entertaining the residents has no limits. They had two miniature ponies in and the residents really had fun. My mum had her first birthday there last year and the catering staff even made her a birthday cake. If your looking for a care home please take a look at Cumbernauld Care Hime I couldn't recommend it enough, actually I will take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the Manager and her staff for all they have done to not only care for and support my mum but have been very kind and helpful to me.

My uncle is a resident at Cumbernauld Care Home. The staff are fantastic always there to help you and my uncle whenever needed. He seems very settled and happy there. He loved his walk the other day. He always loved being outdoors walking for miles. Thank you for everything you do for my uncle.

I personally waited for availability in this care home for my husband, I am so pleased I did. He has a lovely new room it is perfect.
My husband has settled in and is happy in his forever home, he is enjoying daily activities, interacting with other residents and eating well.
I get updates on what
my husband has been doing, eating, sleeping etc.
My husband is happy this makes me happy too.
I can't praise the management and staff enough, they are kind, warm and friendly.
I am so grateful for the peace of mind knowing my husband is receiving the best care.

Cumbernauld Care Home is a shining example of how people in their twilight years should be cared for. Efficiently run establishment. A warm, friendly atmosphere greets you at the door. Basic nursing care is first class. Residents are treated with dignity and respect and are truly pampered. There is
a good selection of food on offer and good hydration is encouraged.
Excellent communication between staff and relatives. Staff treat everyone as an individual and do their utmost to make the care home experience a positive one.
Spotlessly clean facility.
I really couldn't praise it highly enough. It was a relief to have my father moved here after a truly shocking stay in an NHS facility.

My husband was in Cumbernauld Care Home for a week for respite care. This was the first time we had asked for respite so I was apprehensive about leaving him. I shouldn't have worried. He appeared to settle and was well cared for.
The home was bright and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I wouldn't hesitate to place him there again.

My mum has recently been transferred to Cumbernauld Care Home. For over a year she was bed-bound at home and they have been amazing and had her up sitting in a special chair in the day room. The staff are friendly and nothing is a problem. Thanks to them she is much happier.

Before my mother-in-law got a place in this care home, I had preconceived ideas of what a care home was like. From the minute I had contact with the manager at Cumbernauld Care Home, my ideas/opinions completely changed. The manager was so helpful, she showed us around the care home before my mother-in-law
moved in. She answered any questions that we had and told us all that we could expect from the home. All of the staff are so friendly and they go out of their way to learn the family's names. The staff genuinely care about the residents and they are so kind. I could not have asked for a better place for my mother-in-law and I know she is in the best place with the best care.

My Uncle has been a resident within the care home for the last 2-years. The staff are friendly, and nothing is ever too much. During the last few months, I couldn't fault the level of communication during this pandemic. I have had photos sent out of what he has been up to and regular phone calls and
skype calls. I would recommend this home to anyone that is in need of dementia care. My Uncle always looks well kept and is happy and enjoys his time in the care home. It's a shame we can't get out and about like we used to prior to covid. He always loved getting out in the minibus.

My grandad has dementia and has been in Cumbernauld Care Home for a few years now. He is always well looked after by nurses and care staff.
With the situation just now my papa couldn’t ask for better care. We are updated constantly by calls and emails and have also been sent pictures which makes us
extremely happy as we can’t see him at the moment.

I can only give complete praise to all the staff at Cumbernauld Care Home. They go above and beyond to care for my mum and all residents. This has been a very testing time for care homes with the outbreak of Covid-19 I have been updated of the changes and precautions that have been applied to shield
my mum and the residents from this virus. The staff have kept me updated on a regular basis if there are changes to my mum's health with is very much appreciated, being the distance I live from the Cumbernauld Care Home. In addition, also the social events that have been planned and the inclusivity of all the residents and sharing pictures of my mum give me great comfort to see how content she is.

My step-father was at Cumbernauld Care Home for just over three years until he passed away aged 94. I cannot praise this establishment highly enough. They have a stable, professional and warm team of nurses, carers and support staff and the place runs like clockwork. I cannot praise the care my step-father
received highly enough. He was safe, warm, well-fed and loved and I could not have given him better care myself. Even in his last few days and hours, he was treated with the utmost dignity and respect.

Every member of staff in all departments of the home cared for my partner for over three years with great kindness and good humour. His needs were immediately attended to. Excellent meals and snacks served at regular intervals. The home's manager and staff treated me with respect and kindness when visiting.
