Highgate Care Home, situated in the peaceful residential area of Uddington, supports older people to lead their best lives with personalised nursing and nursing dementia care.

Highgate recently underwent an extensive refurbishment programme which transformed communal areas including dining rooms, lounges/day rooms, reception area, bathrooms and corridors. Highgate has a host of places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative and the pretty landscaped sensory garden and patio is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family.

From care assistants and nurses, to wellbeing coordinators and chefs, each and every member of the professional care team is there to assist you or your loved one in settling into the home. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the care sector, the home manager leads the team to ensure residents are supported to lead their best lives at Highgate.

The catering team at Highgate understands the nutritional needs of older people and creates delicious meals to ensure a lovely dining experience for all residents and visitors. They offer a wide range of popular dining areas that provide a welcoming space to enjoy meals with fellow residents, or family and friends.

The dedicated and professional care team at Highgate likes to learn about each resident’s hobbies and interests to design a comprehensive activity programme, supporting those living in the home to enjoy the things they love most. We are delighted with the care and attention that is lavished on my father-in-law. He is happy and contented. No matter when we visit he is always smart, clean tidy and well. Thanks to all the staff you are wonderful.

My mother-in-law has been at Highgate Care Home for 7 years now. The staff have looked after and cared for her despite Covid, challenging behaviours and illness. They are caring and attentive. Thank you for continuing to provide excellent care.

My brother and I did not envisage such a happy outcome for our dad prior to his arrival at Highgate Care Home. Without exception, the staff and management are kind, caring and so helpful to us as visitors. Dad is always smartly dressed and very clean and tidy. The variety of activities is amazing, and
I can only thank you all so much for your hard work.

Highgate has looked after my dad for several years, I have always found the home to be very welcoming, and the staff are always very helpful. If I have any issues, these are always dealt with quickly.
The care home is always warm, and cleanliness is good. They try to keep the residents as active as
possible.

My mother-in-law has been in Highgate since June 2022. It took her a few months to settle, but she has been so well cared for during this time. I cannot praise the care staff enough; they do everything they can to make her stay safe, healthy and happy. We looked at several care homes for my mother-in-law,
and we are so happy we chose Highgate.

Me and my mother are so happy with the staff, they are so helpful and polite and always go above and beyond to help. 10/10 service. We feel this is more like a five to six-star hotel as my mother gets spoiled.

Review is usually given with the nurse in charge. Just to keep us updated with my mother's health and well-being and if there are any issues with Mum and if we are happy with the overall service (but without the review, we get regular calls).

My mum moved to Highgate Care Home a year ago. This was a difficult decision but we chose the right care home. The staff look after Mum ensuring her needs are met, (and the families). The staff are approachable and you can speak to them about my mum if needed.
There has been issues with staff due
to sickness but feel the staff is needed for patient care and continuity for residents.

The staff always have time to listen. Any needs that my husband requires are attended to right away. My husband is always presented in clean clothes. The staff always encourage him to be more mobile and more social. During his care review, my questions were answered satisfactorily, and his care was

I have found both staff and facilities to be more than adequate. The staff have treated my dad with the utmost care and kept his dignity at all times. His room is clean and tidy at all times, and he has settled in really well. Any issues with my dad have been dealt with quickly and with care.

My mum moved into Highgate 3 weeks ago. The staff have been fantastic helping her settle and have been a great support to her family. Everyone you come into contact with is so kind and caring. I am very pleased with all the facilities and believe this move for my mum will keep her safe and improve her
quality of life with the company and activities. I would highly recommend this care home if you are looking for a new home for your family member as the team work incredibly hard to make it feel like a home within a bigger home for your loved one with their well-being a priority.

Having to place my mum in care was one of the worst things I have had to do, but from the very first day, the wonderful staff at Highgate made this experience the best it could be. Care homes are bricks and mortar, but every one of the team here is invaluable. They work tirelessly to ensure all their
residents are cared for. They build relationships and hear everyone in their care with compassion and dignity. They are an exceptional team of people, and I cannot speak highly enough of them.

I find this staff at Highgate Care Home professional, friendly and very supportive both to my aunt and myself.
My aunt has received the highest level of care, staff have been patient and caring with my aunt who can be very challenging. I couldn't wish for a better home for my aunt. They have treated
her with dignity and kindness.

We could not have selected a better place for our aunt she has always been treated with kindness, dignity and lot of love and care. The staff exceed our expectations and we have no hesitation in recommending Highgate Care Home as a safe and caring place for your loved one. The care home also a great

My mum has been in Highgate Clyde unit for only a few weeks and I can't express my gratitude enough. The care and overall feeling in the home are exceptional. All staff really care about the client and family members, nothing is a bother, my mum had a stroke and lost the ability of speech they have
been wonderful and Mum already has a great friendship with the staff. She smiles and waves to them. She was in another care home for 3 months and I took her out.
