My mother has been extremely well cared for since she arrived in Finavon Court. The staff are kind, caring, well trained and communicate with me regularly. My mother was previously cared for elsewhere and she has been so much more contented than before due to the staff’s much deeper understanding of
her needs and how to meet them. Finavon Court is extremely well led and managed and this is exemplified by most effective teamwork. The administration is also excellent, helping me through the hoops required in relation to changes in financial arrangements. The Manager and staff performance during Covid have been superb and I am more than grateful to them for what they have done to keep my mother healthy, content and secure.

My dad who sadly suffers from dementia has been a resident of Finavon for almost two years now. At first and as any family would be, we were concerned about how he would be treated with having dementia but the staff are fantastic with him and treat him with the care and respect that he deserves and
we're so glad that he's happy and has settled in so well, as that's so important. The staff and managers are always happy and friendly and there's always a warm welcome when we visit. I'd prefer my dad to be at home obviously but out of all the places, I'm so glad we found Finavon as they take such good care of him.

I feel the managers of the home ensure that all her staff are professional, approachable and friendly and show a lot of empathy towards residents and relatives. This I have noticed on my regular visits to my dad. Therefore, the managers and staff do try to ensure a high standard of care which I hope
continues.

Since we put our relative into Finavon Court all the family have been impressed by the standard of care given to our relative. We have always found him well dressed and groomed, well-fed and looked after. His room is comfortable and all that he requires for his needs. On our recent visit we have been
informed that the home no longer has its bus in which to take their residents to outings etc, we find this a shame as he enjoyed his trips.

Thank you for your very kind comments regarding the care of your relative. I would also like to confirm that although we do not have our own minibus, we do still have access to a minibus we share with another home and regular outings will be available once we move back to a normal situation.

In our opinion, Finavon Court has proven to be the most suitable care home for our relative. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much of a problem. The support he receives from the staff in all aspects of his well being are second to none.
Activities are regularly held for the entertainment
of the residents and their guests. He must be enjoying his food as he has certainly kept his weight on, if not got a bit of a tummy. His room is comfortable and has all he requires.
A very well run establishment.

My mum's care has been excellent. All of the nurses/carers have been very supportive to both Mum and us as a family, during a particularly bad spell during my Mum's health, the carers and nurses helped her through it, supporting both her mental and physical healthcare needs. The food provided for residents
is of an excellent standard, there are lots of healthy and tasty options for people like Mum who need support to eat.
All of the staff are very professional and caring.

Since moving to Finavon a few months ago, my wife's appearance has improved greatly. She is much more settled and is eating and putting on weight. The staff at Finavon have built up a good relationship with her, almost from day one and this has allowed them to provide a good level of care.
From my
point of view, the staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing is too much problem and they always make time to keep me informed.

Today was my first visit to see my mum.
I was greeted by very warm and friendly staff. The home is very tidy, bright and clean. The staff are helpful and kind. Carers do a super job. Mum is doing really well.

In general, the service is of a high standard where they provide great care and support for my Grandad. He is always happy and the staff are attentive, caring and friendly.
There have only been a few minor issues regarding care - not enough to write about.
I feel sometimes the cleanliness could be
better.

My overall experience of care at Finavon Court is excellent. Residents are treated with dignity and respect in sometimes difficult situations. A very welcoming, cheery atmosphere exists.
Any issues raised or any concerns are dealt with appropriately and timeously and outcome communicated.
Staff try
to spend individual time with residents, when 'time and staffing levels allow', involving them in conversation and some laughter - very necessary! Quality of meals is good and credit is due to kitchen staff in relation to gluten-free diet.
Outside areas require maintenance, summer house needs painting - also windows.

I live overseas and this was my first opportunity to visit my dad at Finavon Court. My experience was extremely positive with the staff, very professional and friendly and always in attendance in helping all the residents and family members. You have a wonderful facility with extremely caring members
of staff. A truly wonderful experience for me during my time in Scotland.

In the 2 years my husband has been in Finavon Court he has been very well cared for. The carers are kind and very helpful, the management staff always ready to answer any questions and contact me if anything, no matter how small, is amiss. Everyone employed in the home are friendly and helpful.

Excellent for my father extremely well looked after. Clean clothes, washed, shaved etc.
All the staff are friendly and keep me informed and are respectful to both fathers and families needs. Plenty of stimulation for residents. Today there was a Beetle Drive.

They look after my wife extremely well, they pick up when my wife complained about a pain in her leg. The doctor was called and drugs were administered. Because of the nursing staff, my wife is still alive and I am grateful.

The majority of staff are kind and helpful. Unfortunately, with such a busy and quite large home, it is not always easy to find a member of the caring team.

I would highly recommend Finaven Court to anyone looking for care for a loved one It is comfortable, warm and friendly, and the home definitely gives off the feeling of a 'Home from Home'! The care given by all the staff is exceptional and standards are always high in every way and nothing is ever too
much trouble for the staff at Finavon Court. Leaving my Wife in the care of a home has definitely been made less distressing with the support and care of Finavon Court staff.
