Kippen House is a residential care home with panoramic views of the Perthshire Hills.

As a centre of excellence in mental health care, staff at Kippen House offer specialised care for adults with former drug or alcohol addictions.

Residents have their own key worker who works closely with them and their family and friends to develop a personalised care plan. This programme is continuously evaluated and updated to account for changes in circumstances so that care is always appropriate.

With 17 rooms, including 13 rooms with en-suite facilities, the home also has lovely gardens for residents to relax in.

Staff encourage residents to keep physically and mentally active with daily in-house activities including darts, pool, music, crosswords, board games, golf and bowls.

All food is prepared using fresh local produce and, during the summer, residents can have home-grown produce from the gardens. Trips to the local pub are popular and residents also take part in the social and cultural activities of the area.

Residents have access to daily newspapers and magazines as well as a visiting library and receive regular visits from GPs, hairdressers, dentists, opticians, chiropodists and an aromatherapist. Residents can also attend religious services either inside or outside the home.
