I have two parents plus a father in law in the home. Overall, things are good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sometimes I have to remind staff that my father in law can't get out of bed so his drinks need to be put in front of him. A few times, the cup/drink is left out of reach. This has
been passed on. Downstairs in 'Memory Lane' - this unit works well with my mother. She seems very happy and staff will bring her upstairs to visit my dad.

Hi, my name is Liz and I am the General Manager here at Ochil Care Home.


I joined the team at Ochil on 13th June 2017 and have been a qualified general nurse for over 30 years. I have managed care homes for over a decade in Wales, England and now Scotland.


I completed the Registered Managers Award qualification in 2010 and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in 2017. I also have an HABC Level 3 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace (Merit).
