Castleview is a unique establishment. I was extremely worried when my brother was placed there for respite at very short notice. I needn't have worried! It is an amazing place. The rooms are beautiful, all with their own T.V. and toilet/wash hand basin. The whole place is spotless, warm and welcoming.
All food is homemade, with a delicious varied menu. Activities are on offer several times a day, from drama to arts. This home is run like a proper Home. Day outing's for coffee/lunch. Personal hobbies are catered for. My brother is a football fan and was taken to the matches every Saturday and his tea was kept for him as he was back late on those occasions. They have twice weekly visit's to the local Pub, for beer /coke/coffee or just to socialise. Parties are held for special occasions. Yes, this is great! But! But? What about the staff? They are Fantastic! All of them! From the head social worker and nurse, to the cleaning staff. 1000 characters are not enough to praise you all! X
