I am the point of contact for my mother, in Leabank Nursing home Ballycastle. The management staff, nursing staff and care team are very supportive of my mother. They are excellent in the roles they do to benefit the residents of the nursing home. The activity coordinator does a great job and should
be given a gold star as she works very hard on her own with the time given to carry out the tasks that she has to do. The carers could do with extra allowances for the difficult work they do on a daily basis, where some residents need extra support. On weekends I think that there's not enough staff on duty and this causes the staff that are on duty to work even harder to keep up with the demands put upon them to carry out their caring responsibilities.

I can't recommend Leabank highly enough. I couldn't fault the staff that looked after my dad in any way. Nothing was too much bother. Annette and her staff are very approachable and hard working. Unfortunately, we are moving dad closer to home but if we could lift Leabank and the staff closer he
would still be with them.

My relative was placed in this care home over the Christmas period and it will be one of the biggest regrets of my life.

The staff in Leabank as so caring they really care about my relative and take time to make sure she has everything she wants and needs, even an ice cream and a walk down to the sea. I am indebted to them, I could never give her the care that they do. Thank you so much. I would really recommend the home
to anyone who needs care for their relative.
