Balmoral View Care Centre is located on the southern side of Belfast and is close to shops, amenities, public transport and the M1 motorway link. Park Shopping Centre is just two miles away.

This listed building has been sympathetically converted and together with a new extension provides accommodation in single occupancy rooms, most of which are with en-suite facilities. Some rooms are spacious enough for sharing.

Balmoral View provides TV lounges and quiet sitting rooms for relaxation. A separate dining room, where residents can socialise at meal times, is also available. The home also has a bright, spacious conservatory and attractive extensively laid out gardens. Traditional home cooking using fresh produce is served and residents may select from the daily choices menu. Special diets can be catered for.

A qualified chiropodist and experienced hair stylist visit the home regularly. The home can arrange for complementary therapies for residents.

A good range of activities are also offered.

I find the staff at all levels to be professional, caring, considerate and kind. They take obvious pride in doing a good job, they are clearly patient - centred in their approach to their work and their happiness derives from making the patients happy. They care about the patients and their families.
This creates a positive atmosphere and facilitates easy communication.

I have spent 2 plus weeks in this home after a bad accident which left me incapacitated with a broken arm and fractured shoulder. I found the care and carers exceptional. Very caring and dedicated staff. The care and help I have received here from the staff accompanied me to the fracture clinic and
have generally been helping and supporting me. I feel my recovery would not have been as good as it is so far.

My father has been in Manor Lodge Care Home for nearly two years now, he came from another care home which was owned by a different company. Since moving to Manor Lodge my family and I can see a big change in him for the better he is a lot happier and content and this has a lot to do with the fantastic
staff and the care they provide.


If you are in the position like we were two years ago thinking of a care home for a loved one I would highly recommend a visit to Manor Lodge Care Home.

There is never enough female staff to take ladies to the toilet or commode. Everyone is entitled to their dignity, the staff do their best, patients sit in a boring dull room in front of the television all day long. The only good service is on the EMI floor, it is bright and cheerful, it is about time
there was something done downstairs.
