My mum was very well cared for by all staff in the dementia nursing unit. In my mum's final days the staff showed great professionalism, kindness and compassion to my mum, my sister and myself. The nurse manager and her staff are a credit to the Conway group.

This is an excellent care home, run and staffed by caring professionals. A cheery, friendly atmosphere, despite the awkward times we have been going through with the pandemic. I could not ask for a better final home for my mother's care. Especially through the final weeks of her life. The staff and
manager go above and beyond their roles, to provide a happy and caring environment and were always welcoming.

A really great team ably guided by the manager. My Uncle received the most thoughtful care from a team of kind nurses and carers. Their devotion to him left me in no doubt that he was in a very clean, warm and loving environment. Thank you to all.

My darling father spent his last three weeks of life in The Cottage. We as family, cannot thank the nurse manager and the staff enough for the care and love that they showed to him. Dad was admitted in very poor health, during his time in The Cottage he was treated with dignity and respect.

Reply from Therese Conway, Director at The Cottage Care Home

Thank you for your very kind words which will be much appreciated by The Manager and her Team. I know the staff did their best to ensure your fathers stay in The Cottage was as comfortable as possible. We are very sorry for your loss.
Kind Regards

Mum has been in the care home for two years. Since going there she was in very poor health. With good medical and staff support, she is still with us at 99. The beds, clothes, and facilities are always clean. The home smells fresh, no urine smells when entering. They encourage residents to be up washed
and dressed. They have a nice day room with a separate dining room where they are treated with dignity.

Manager, nurses and all staff are approachable and if it is within their power they will fix any problems relatives may have. The activity manager works hard at everything, from running entertainment, games, singing, exercises and raising funding days. We like it. Hope if you ever need the facilities. I would certainly recommend it.
