I have been a regular visitor for many years now.
I have always received a warm friendly welcome.
The staff work so hard and are always extremely caring.
They are professional and always have the best interests and needs are met for every individual at Warmere.
It is an excellent home, and I

I cannot fault Warmere day care centre, they are brilliant, the staff and management are caring, dedicated and excellent. My father has been attending the day care centre for nearly 10 years and it is his second home. If there was an Oscar for day care centres I would recommend them. I don't think my
father would be here today if it wasn't for the care and professionalism that he receives for them. Thank you and God bless you all.

My mum has been at Warmere Court for year or so now, and all I can say is the place is amazing, the staff are caring, passionate, and full of compassion.
Knowing my mum is cared for and every need is met makes it easier to accept.
The home is homely and soon as you enter you are greeted with a cheery
hello and smile from admin, and the manager is approachable and always around the home talking everyone. Warmere has a fun group of staff who seem to be always trying to find new ideas to help raise funds to treat their residents.
Just recently they have put in new menus and the home cooking smells amazing and looks yummy.
Warmere Court care home is one of a kind and I'm over the moon we chose here for mum.

My father attends daycare facilities two days a week and will also come for ad-hoc respite. He has been for some time now. This has made a difference to my dad, and he really does enjoy his days at Warmere. The staff are so lovely and really try so hard to motivate my dad and get him interested in different
things. They put a lot of effort into ensuring that he has plenty to do and is occupied and happy.
Recently my mother was taken ill and needed to go into hospital urgently. I live about an hour away and have young children, so struggle to 'drop everything' and step in. I called the staff at Warmere as I wasn't sure what else to do, I didn't even have the details of my father's social worker so hoped they could help or at least point me in the right direction. I know I am not allowed to name members of staff here, but one lady, in particular, was so so helpful and I would say that she really went above and beyond to help my family and me, getting my dad collected and into respite asap.

Mum recently stayed in Warmere for a weeks respite. Staff know her well as she regularly attends the day centre. Mum is a frequent faller and has become frail and disorientated. They listened and acknowledged our concerns with regards to falling. All the staff went over and above to ensure that this
did not happen and for this, we are really grateful. Thank you!

Warmere Court is a warm and friendly home with a garden-themed corridor and when you enter the home you are made to feel welcome with greetings from staff from manager to carer to domestic, on occasions I've asked for assistance with my client and no job has been too much for the staff. Warmere Court
care offers the highest standard of care and I feel that anyone that uses their services is safe and treated with respect. Warmere passes the mum test for me in every way possible, they have fun-packed entertainers and even had lamas visit, and they display a wish tree on their wall which I find amazing to have that one wish fulfilled. The day centre staff have been amazing with helping care for my client.

All excellent, hands-on staff are very caring and kind. The only observation I would make is that the management are a bit detached but would recommend this home to anyone.

My mum moved here at the age of 89. The care she gets is of a very high standard, and importantly for me, my mum is very happy and settled here. The staff encourage independence but are there with a steady arm if it's needed. The food is very nice, there is always a choice. My mum is washed every morning,
dressed and presented to the table for a good breakfast, which is a good start to the day. Mum enjoys the gardening club along with the Friday film and skittles monthly which has won. My mum has access to a weekly hairdresser and a chiropodist every 6 weeks. I think it's important to give encouragement in the form of quizzes which the residents partake in. There is a well-kept garden which is used on the warmer days. If you nod off in your chair don't be surprised if you open your eyes to alpacas in the lounge!! Warmer Court is full of nice surprises.

My dear friend died in hospital recently after spending over a year on the residential floor of Warmere Court. She loved being at Warmere Court and all the staff made her feel as she were in her own home. She had a lovely bright room with her own bathroom, television and direct line telephone (which
was a great advantage).


The staff were all excellent and they made her life very happy. I visited about 3 times a week and was made very welcome by the staff and part of the Warmere Court family.
I cannot recommend it highly enough.

My husband attends daycare weekly. The staff are amazing, he is bathed and returns to me in a good frame of mind. He has speech, hearing, mobility and coordination issues and the staff make immense efforts to find ways for him to really engage in various activities. I can't praise them enough for all
they do for him. He really does benefit in many ways.

My husband has been a visitor to the day centre, part of 2018, most of 2019 to date. He is extremely confused but always seems to be happy to go on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and on return more stable. He can never relate to me where or what he has been doing but his attitude is so much better.
The staff are "pure magic" in coping with other patients far worse than my husband and there is always a smile and welcome from the staff when they pick up and drop off time during the day. It would certainly be an excellent home to finish one's days.

I have worked at Warmere Court for 13 years. 3 years in the old Warmere Court and 10years in the new Warmere Court.


I enjoy my role because It is so nice to help and make a difference in the community to older peoples lives
Knowing that every time I am at work I’m making a difference and promoting Shaw’s beliefs of wellness, happiness and kindness is what makes us as a team bond together.
I have so many fond memories to choose from, I love the days which involve the staff getting dressed up, fetes, trips out, fundraising days etc.


Qualifications include Manual Handling Trainer, NVQ LVL 2 in health and social care, Nutrition and Hydration Champion, Level 2 certificate in dementia care, level 3 in palliative care, medication trained

The best memory of a working day for me would be us all doing the charity bike ride to Fundraise for Warmere Court to enrich our residents lives, and I look forward to many more fundraising days.

I have worked at Warmere Court for 10 months
I enjoy using my passion and love for cooking and good quality food for the good and wellbeing of the residents here.


Having a good honest relationships with the residents really helps me to plan the meals. Knowing that if there is a food or request they would like, making sure they can have it and bringing a smile to their faces

The summer fete here in 2019 was great fun, it is nice to have a themed day where everyone is enjoying themselves, dressed up, seeing residents and families mingle.

My best memory of a working day was when we took the residents to Longleat safari park and winter light show for Christmas, seeing the smiles from everyone, made it all worth it.

I really like being responsible for engaging residents and encouraging them to be social. This really is something I pride myself in, making a difference to help someone settle into the home and keeping residents busy and feeling worthwhile is a great feeling.


I love to see the residents enjoy activities, be it as a group or a one to one, it is heart-warming every time.
Working at Warmere Court was my very first job in care, the team here really helped me feel welcome.


My best memory so far of a working day was organising alpacas to come into the home. It was great fun, it was a unique activity that the residents all loved, Trips out to Longleat, or to the beach and other places are always great fun too, and organising summer fetes which lets families come together and enjoy days with loved ones is a very rewarding feeling.

I really enjoy making people’s lives better on a daily basis and being able to put a smile on people’s faces. I treat all the residents the same, as if they were my Nan or Grandad.

Warmere Court was the first time ever I have worked in care. I was made to feel a member of the team straight away.


I would say the best memory of a working day for me was the Grease themed summer fete last year was so much fun and the residents loved it, having all the resident's families join us made it a special and memorable day.

I have to say, I have loved it here so much, I came back.


I have done every job there is to do in the home over a career of 26 years, and now I’m the manager, which I am very proud of.

I make sure all residents live in a happy, well run home and for me, knowing I am leading a wonderful team that enriches people’s lives, means everything.


I have a lot of wonderful memories when I look back, I just enjoy being part of a great team and making days extra special for residents. I enjoy getting compliments and feedback from residents and their families, it makes it all worthwhile.

I enjoy caring for people and making a difference in my community. I try my best to make every day special and worthwhile
Having a close bond with colleagues and residents, makes work days so special, we are one big happy family here.


Everyday offers an opportunity to give me a new best memory, I love the big holidays like Christmas and Easter but, day to day there could just be a little thing you could do, or say and it will make someone smile, and to me that makes all the difference.

I have worked here at Warmere Court on the nursing floor for five years.


I honestly do love my job as a nurse and I truly believe in the care here at Warmere Court.


I love that I get to care for and help people in need, build close bonds with residents and their families - we are all one big happy family.

I always work to provide first class care.
In total I have worked for 34 years in healthcare so, I feel very proud.


I have so many happy memories here at Warmere Court, lots of amazing times and that is why I am dedicated to working for the home. Seeing residents happy is all that matters to me.

I have now worked at Warmere Court for a total of 20 years. 9 years at the old Warmere Court with West Sussex council and then 11 years at the new Warmere Court with Shaw healthcare.


I enjoy working in the home and Knowing that every shift, I’m doing everything I can to enrich the residents lives and keep them all happy. At the end of the day everything we do is for them.


Every day is a special day and that’s what makes working in care great. Seeing the residents smile and realizing the work you do is really making a difference. Its crazy to think I have been here for 22 years. I have met and got to know so many local families.


I love Christmas time in the home, decorating the home all nice, giving residents presents, playing games, it is a really nice family feel all around the home.
