My Mum has been a resident here for almost a year. She was warmly welcomed into Newfield and instantly became a much happier person. The level of care kindness and support is absolutely excellent.
A beautiful care home with excellent food, and activities, a real luxury home, beautiful rooms with a
homely feel. Nothing is too much trouble for the excellent staff and they are the most friendly passionate and helpful not just with the residents but with family members too. My Mum is happy, comfortable and safe here. A huge credit to all at Newfield. Thank you.

My Mother has been in the dementia section of Newfield Lodge now for 20 months. My sister and I are very pleased with the care that she receives. The whole building us always kept very well decorated and perfectly clean. They have entertainment every day. Singers, games, etc. My Mother has her hair
done every week in the on-site salon. All the staff are very friendly and caring towards the residents. In the main area, there is a lounge section with bay windows for looking outside with comfy seats. Then a dinning and TV area. We are very pleased with my mother's care and would definitely recommend Newfield Lodge Care Home.

1st February 2024 Ma was admitted straight from the hospital after a 2-week stay due to a fall and watering. My sister and I had looked after her for quite a while - but started to struggle when she wouldn't eat. She arrived at Newfield to a wonderful welcome! We've had ups and downs due to how cruel
Alzheimers can be. But Mum is healthier and happier and due to food and snacks eats so much better. We couldn't wish for more! We now spend quality time with her and let the wonderful staff look after the care. The activities are exceptional!
Newfield isn't like a care home and my Mum for a while thought she was in a hotel. I asked her what she thought of living here: She said I can't fault it.

My Mother-in-law moved into Newfield almost a year ago. Was not sure if she would be happy there, or if we would be happy with her being there, but as she needed 24-hour care it was the best option.
The staff are very caring and her health has improved due to her being cared for.
The atmosphere in
Newfield is great with lots going on that has made her feel at home.
She has a lovely room and a nice view.
It's nice to know that when you leave her she is being well looked after.

I am pleased with the home except for the top up fees as I think they are too expensive as my wife doesn't drink alcohol and her choice is to stay in her room.
The second thing is weekend access, no one on the door, and can take up to 5 minutes to get in.

My dad seems very happy and settled and most staff are lovely, friendly and caring. I do feel some staff need to smile and be a bit happier. There is a good entertainment programme which my dad sometimes joins in with. The management staff are lovely and very approachable. We are always kept informed
of any falls, doctor visits, illness etc. Overall I'm very happy with Newfield Lodge and know my dad is safe and in good hands.

My mum has been here 8 months now, she has settled well. Staff are attentive and approachable. Always clean in areas and carpets washed regularly in the day room. Activities on for residents each day, with plenty of singers attending. Feel that Mum is safe and well looked after and that I don't need
to worry about her. Would recommend Newfield Lodge to anyone needing a care home. Family members who have visited say it's the cleanest home they've ever visited.

My husband has been in care for 8 months and seems to be very settled and happy with his surroundings. The room is lovely and comfortable. Most of the staff are great and keep me informed of his wellbeing and if he is seeing the doctor. The entertainment schedule is very good, there is always something
going on and they have some very entertaining singers which my husband loves. The food is excellent and wholesome and plenty of choice of drinks. The care is very good and that puts my mind at ease. The management are very approachable and helpful they are always happy to sort out any concerns.
All in all my husband is in safe hands which makes me happy.

I can not thank the staff at this establishment enough. My grandma needed a new care home to go to for respite and she was welcomed with open arms here and couldn't wait for her next 'holiday' there. Every member of staff that I had come into contact with made not only my grandma feel welcome but they
also involved the family when we were coming to visit, making sure we were all comfortable but also supplying drinks and snacks too, (I know that drinks and snacks aren't the important part) but for me, it was showing that they were going above and beyond for everybody to make every visit with my grandma pleasurable for me but most importantly my grandma. I feel that they treat my grandma how they would want their grandmother treated, with kindness, dignity, care and most of all with love. I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for a loving place for your relative to go to to be cared for.

Our lovely Dad had been a resident in Newfield Lodge for the last 4 years and we would like to thank the staff for the care and support he received during this time and especially in the last week of his life when he received the type of care, compassion and respect which allowed him to die with dignity
in the comfort of the place he regarded as his new home. We would also like to thank the staff for the compassion and support they have given to our family during this difficult time and the continued care they provide to our Mum who is also a resident in the home.

I didn't think Dad was ready for a care home when his wife died. His dementia was worsening and despite our best efforts looking after him at home wasn't feasible. Dad became a resident of Newfield Lodge and despite being a little confused engaged with all the staff and residents immediately.
The
entertainment days were a godsend for him and he enjoyed singing, dancing and joining in with all the songs.
Dad was always a good eater and always enjoyed a cooked breakfast or egg sandwich. He became well known for having an extra egg sandwich.
As a son, you always want the best and Newfield didn't disappoint. Newfield makes you feel part of the family and all the staff, including the managers went that extra mile to ensure this. We always felt that Dad was safe and very well looked after. Sadly Dad's condition worsened as well as having cancer and the love and care Dad received during his final weeks, was a great comfort.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Newfield Lodge to anyone.
