Belvedere House is located close to the centre of Chesterfield. Taking care and support facilities to a whole new level, the warm and inviting residence provides the comforts of home with 24-hour support.

Boasting 64 spacious bedrooms all with en-suite wet rooms, the home also includes a number of bedrooms with patios directly out to beautiful gardens.

There is a large area of landscaped gardens and it is close to the town centre so residents will be part of the community.

Facilities at Belvedere also include Waterlily salon which will offer residents manicures, pedicures, massages and facials, plus a hair salon for those who enjoy a bit of pampering.

The Walton bar and brasserie, with lovely views of the landscaped gardens, will offer drinks and dining on the doorstep, with an outdoor patio leading off the bar for a spot of alfresco dining or to just enjoy a drink soaking up the sun. There will also be a lounge for some peace, quiet and a chance to relax with a book, plus free Wi-Fi access throughout.

Belvedere House has two floors of accommodation

Hardwick Suite
Situated on the ground floor, this suite has been designed for individuals wishing to make a lifestyle choice, providing an opportunity for people to live safely and independently, enjoying like-minded company. This is Belvedere House’s hub of the home with well-equipped facilities to accommodate all residents as well as people with high levels of health and personal care needs. Secure in the knowledge that there is 24 hour care and support on hand if needed.

Chatsworth Suite
The memory impairment facility provides accommodation that has been tastefully and sympathetically designed to offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment for people who may have varying degrees of memory impairment.

As a volunteer at this care home, I am truly honoured to be part of such a wonderful community. The environment is not only beautiful but also safe and welcoming. I have the privilege of working alongside a team of dedicated and compassionate staff who go above and beyond to care for the residents.
The residents themselves are delightful, and their warmth and kindness create a sense of family within the home. The supportive atmosphere and the strong sense of camaraderie make this an exceptional place to volunteer. This experience has enriched my life, and I am grateful to contribute to a place that genuinely cares for its people.

1st and only care home I have experienced, but I find it very, very good.
Food can be iffy, but accommodation and care by the staff is excellent.
It is clean and cared for and all requests from me to staff have been taken seriously.

My mum was the first resident in Belvedere House when it first opened. From that day to the present day, she has been looked after, cared for and given love by the staff of this home, her needs have always been met with dignity and kindness. I and my family have no concerns at all about our mum living
at Belvedere, from which we would advise anyone thinking about short or long stay in a care home to visit others in the area and then visit Belvedere, there is no comparison in quality and comfort.

Our mum has been a resident of Belvedere Care home since the first day of opening. The staff are excellent with their professional care, compassion and love for each resident and their individual needs.
The home itself is purpose-built, very comfortable, warm and inviting. Each room is equipped with
en suite facilities and individual thermostats enabling each resident to have their heating just as they like it.
There is regularly (each day) a varied and interesting programme of activities and interests with many professional entertainers visiting.
Throughout the year there are various events eg. Summer BBQ, Christmas Fayre and Summer Fayre to which the public is always very welcome.
Mum is now going into her third year living at Belvedere and she could not have had better care and attention from anywhere else. She is happy, safe and very well cared for. We could not ask for more, the staff go that extra mile for everyone each day.

I feel so glad that Belvedere House staff are caring for both my parents. All the staff do everything they can to understand each of them and arrange things like beds, crockery, alarms, activities and food accordingly. The respect for each person is genuine, whenever I visit, the staff share tales of

Belvedere House is the most luxurious environment and every member of staff has been exemplary. It is a shining example of what care should be. They have made what has been a difficult decision more bearable. Their care extends beyond the residents - they have been so supportive of me and all the complex

It's been a very difficult time moving Dad into care but he has settled well into Belvedere House.
He has a lovely room and the staff are very approachable and friendly. He still maintains some independence at the same time as being safe and cared for.
I fully recommend Belvedere.

After caring for Mum at home for fifteen years, she tried respite at Belvedere House and never left. The manager visited us at home, prior to admission, taking full details of Mum's needs. From her first day, Mum felt at home. Good food, fantastic room but most important, I am happy she is well cared
for. Staff are friendly and helpful and Mum feels "safe". She enjoys the activities and chatting to her friends. As a family, we would recommend Belvedere.

My son came to Belvedere House from living alone at a time when he was very weak and vulnerable. I chose this home as a head and shoulders standout from other Chesterfield care homes, greeted for a show around by a staff member, who I chose to name as an ambassador for the home because she deserves
it. She was the first face we saw and sold it straight away with her exemplary appearance and professional manner. My friend is now very settled in a place we think is extending his life.

Five stars for everything. My mother has been in Belvedere House since November and we can't praise it enough. The rooms, food and care are second to none. The staff and management go out of their way to ensure mum has everything she needs and still find time to talk to her, so she does feel like this
is her home. It's a shame that, due to her medical conditions, she cannot take part in or appreciate all that is on offer. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

My mum has been in Belvedere House for almost three months and she loves it. We thought it was a special place the first time we went to look round and we were not wrong. Everything about this place is fantastic - the design, the furnishings, the facilities, the en-suite bedrooms, the communal areas,
the cleanliness, the activities, the ambience etc. But the most fantastic thing about Belvedere House is the staff and I mean all staff, I don't want to list names or job titles because I don't know all their names or job titles so I don't want to miss anyone out. They treat both residents and their families with care and respect, are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. I love watching how they interact with Mum and how she responds to them. In Mum's own words she is happy, spoilt and lucky to have found this place and it is the best thing she has done going to live there! If you are looking for a care home for a relative or yourself, I can 100% recommend Belvedere House.

I would like to say that, in my opinion, you would not be able to find a better care home in which to stay. I have worked within the Crown Care Group for 4 years. With the previous 3 years as a Registered Manager, I was then given the opportunity to take on the role of Customer Relations Manager which I loved. I was lucky to have the pleasure of guiding people through the whole process from enquiry to admission. Building relationships and trust to ensure a smooth transition and make what can be a very difficult time as easy and enjoyable as possible.


I am now in the position of Deputy Manager, leading the team and working alongside the Home Manager.


I also work closely alongside our activities coordinator to provide and maintain an individual person-centred lifestyle plan as well as plan amazing events. My previous position also enabled me to support the Management team in all aspects of the home.
