Belvedere House is located close to the centre of Chesterfield. Taking care and support facilities to a whole new level, the warm and inviting residence provides the comforts of home with 24-hour support.

Boasting 64 spacious bedrooms all with en-suite wet rooms, the home also includes a number of bedrooms with patios directly out to beautiful gardens.

There is a large area of landscaped gardens and it is close to the town centre so residents will be part of the community.

Facilities at Belvedere also include Waterlily salon which will offer residents manicures, pedicures, massages and facials, plus a hair salon for those who enjoy a bit of pampering.

The Walton bar and brasserie, with lovely views of the landscaped gardens, will offer drinks and dining on the doorstep, with an outdoor patio leading off the bar for a spot of alfresco dining or to just enjoy a drink soaking up the sun. There will also be a lounge for some peace, quiet and a chance to relax with a book, plus free Wi-Fi access throughout.

Belvedere House has two floors of accommodation

Hardwick Suite
Situated on the ground floor, this suite has been designed for individuals wishing to make a lifestyle choice, providing an opportunity for people to live safely and independently, enjoying like-minded company. This is Belvedere House’s hub of the home with well-equipped facilities to accommodate all residents as well as people with high levels of health and personal care needs. Secure in the knowledge that there is 24 hour care and support on hand if needed.

Chatsworth Suite
The memory impairment facility provides accommodation that has been tastefully and sympathetically designed to offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment for people who may have varying degrees of memory impairment.

As a chiropodist/podiatrist, I have years of experience working in various residential and nursing homes, including five-star organisations. I must say, I was so incredibly impressed with Belvedere House. Initially from an architectural point of view as the building has an old-style house facade, with
the main building extending backwards rather than the usual full fronted large none inviting care home. The facilities are second to none and no expense has been spared with the whole emphasis made to provide a truly, homely feel, including a bar, cinema, conservation and various small cosy lounges. All are excellently furnished and decorated (better than most hotels!). The quality of care/friendliness/love provided is excellent. In the words of my grandma; "they make you feel special". Belvedere House is truly outstanding; the very best I've ever visited! Belvedere House is a true beacon of how all care facilities should be.

This place is less like a care home and more like a five-star hotel that happens to have lovely, caring staff! It is immaculately clean and has a luxurious feel.
Everyone here is thoughtful and accommodating of any requests service users may have. I have so much peace of mind knowing my dad is living
here where he is happy and cared for 24/7.

As a family, we did everything that we could to enable Dad to stay in his family home in which he has lived for over 60 years. Eventually, it was decided that we would need to put Dad into respite care while we considered our next move. Finding Belevedere House was such a relief. A purpose-built, beautiful
home was waiting for him, he is now staying permanently. The building, decoration and grounds are just brilliant. Dad particularly liked his room that faced onto the gardens and the garden room. All the staff are respectful, happy and interested in both residents and visitors. The open-door policy is very welcoming. The house is also well managed and we are so happy that Dad is now safe and looked after really well with such kindness. Thank you, everyone.

Dad has been so well looked after during his respite time. All the staff have made him and our family welcome and feel part of the Belvedere family. The house has a 5-star feel, elegant and spotless, and the food has been very nice according to Dad. The carers have always made time to listen to any

What a relief to have found this wonderful home for my dad. The staff are so friendly and efficient; nothing is too much trouble. The home is more like a hotel with tasteful decor and a relaxing outdoor space. The food is nutritious and is presented in a way to tempt residents to eat. The activities
coordinator is lovely, happy and tries to accommodate everyone.

Mum has been made very welcome from the start. Wonderful room and facilities. Staff always friendly and on hand, if required. Food good, Mum eats everything pit in front of her. Lovely garden room and garden to spend time in, in nice weather. Activities timetable a great idea.

The care that my mother-in-law has received from Belvedere House has been excellent. The change in her has been remarkable, wearing smart clothes and jewellery. She was very isolated and lonely at home, but now sees more people and is starting to integrate. The care workers are exceptional and must
have been selected by a caring management team. She has joined in some of the activities and was made to feel very special when a residents party was organised to celebrate her birthday. We have been informed when medical care has been required and know that we can trust all the staff to take good care of her. In her first week, she sat outside in the sunshine, something she hasn't done for years.

I came to Belvedere for respite after a total knee replacement at the hospital. I can truthfully say it is a wonderful home, especially the front of house! The staff - all so caring, professional, from management, carers, cleaners, handyman and (one) of the most excellent chefs. I am so grateful to

My mother was transferred to Belvedere House from hospital, and as soon as she arrived was treated with the utmost care and dignity. She had always been adamant that she would not go into care, but her eyes have been opened, and she is enjoying her stay so far. She has help when she needs it and doesn't
have to worry about anything. All of the staff have been wonderful, going out of their way to make her feel comfortable and cared for. This has also had a significant effect upon my sister and our families as it has reduced the worry involved of having to care for an elderly relative who has been living alone without outside support for almost thirty years since my father died. Thank you.

After three week's experience, I found the staff very helpful and generous of their time. They don't mind what time of day you ring. I do not take part in any activities because I find it difficult to get about without my trolley.

I have worked within the Crown Care Group for 4 years. With the previous 3 years as a Registered Manager, I was then given the opportunity to take on the role of Customer Relations Manager which I loved. I was lucky to have the pleasure of guiding people through the whole process from enquiry to admission. Building relationships and trust to ensure a smooth transition and make what can be a very difficult time as easy and enjoyable as possible.


I am now in the position of Deputy Manager, leading the team and working alongside the Home Manager.


I also work closely alongside our activities coordinator to provide and maintain an individual person-centred lifestyle plan as well as plan amazing events. My previous position also enabled me to support the Management team in all aspects of the home.
