Apple Trees Care and Reablement Centre offer residents a real home from home in a modern environment. Spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities look out onto landscaped gardens with raised planters, vegetable patches and water features, whilst comfortable lounges and friendly dining areas ensure residents can relax and enjoy all the usual home comforts.

A varied programme of events and activities mean that residents can continue to pursue hobbies they enjoy, and also try out something new. The home also has strong links with the local community, and school children and other community groups are regular visitors to the home.

Fresh, seasonal produce is a key ingredient for the home-cooked meals and snacks prepared by the talented chef and kitchen team, who always take into account individual dietary requirements and preferences. Relatives and friends are always welcome to join in at meal times.

The team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure that residents have care and support as and when they need it.

  • Your fees cover several areas while in their care.
    These services are: Personal care, accommodation,

    We currently have a welcome offer available for new residents funding their own care at Apple Trees. The offer includes free hairdresser/barber services, chiropody, daily newspaper of your choice and toiletry gift set on arrival.

    Services NOT included in price are: dentistry, chiropody,
    physiotherapy, occupational therapy, opticians, hairdressing,
    medications, toiletries, clothing, newspapers/magazines.
    During your stay, you may need to purchase additional goods
    and services. If they are able to provide such goods and
    services, they will tell you how much these goods and services
    will cost and they expect that you will pay for these goods and
    services at the time you request them.
    They can accompany loved ones to private appointments,
    however the fee attached to this is £21 per hour. Where private taxi
    services are used for transportation to appointments the cost should
    be paid for by yourself.

My father was in Apple Trees for just over a month before he died and the care and attention were brilliant. My father was completely comfortable and he felt safe and was treated with respect.
For me, this care and compassion was essential and was not only for him but myself.
I heartily recommend
this home and all the staff one hundred per cent.

My father was a resident at Apple Trees for around 16 months until his recent death. He was at all times treated with dignity, compassion and kindness. The staff have all been kind and caring and have done their best to make his last year of life as comfortable as possible.

My aunt has received exceptional care since moving to Apple Trees in November 2017. She has dementia and had become isolated and quite withdrawn. Almost a year later, she is more confident, chats to people as her condition allows and loves the outings and entertainments. She often tells me what good
care she has from all the staff. I'm impressed by how quickly staff respond to anything I ask and how well they relate to and help my aunt and I'm amazed at how well she now looks and how happy she is. The calm friendly, homely atmosphere really make her feel secure and looked after. I'm very grateful for her care as I live away from Grantham and have absolutely no worries about her well-being.

On entering Apple Trees Care and Reablement Centre you feel very welcomed and homely. Staff in this care home are absolutely fabulous and nothing is too much trouble for the residents from the staff in the kitchen to management they all deserve a big thank you for what they do daily. As a relation to
the resident (my father who was in for rehabilitation after a knee replacement), I would highly recommend a stay or permanent residency here. Beautiful place.

My mother's care has been exemplary. She has been treated with dignity and respect at all times. The staff and management are superb and always give 100% - nothing is too much trouble and they are always on hand to chat to if needed. Mum's room is always clean and tidy as are all the lounges and dining
rooms. A marvellous place!

Apple Trees was recommended to me for mum following the sudden death of my father. At such a difficult time all staff have treated us with understanding and respect. All staff that look after mum are fabulous and I am so very happy with Apple Trees. Would not want her to be anywhere else.

On Dec 22nd Dad was transferred into Apple Trees. The day was a nightmare as the transfer was completely screwed up by the ambulance service....eventually he got to Apple Trees one and a half hours after their normal reception time had finished. Two of the day staff volunteered to stay on duty to receive
him. He arrived exhausted, upset and confused. The staff, who were absolutely brilliant settled him and me quite quickly. He got his cup of tea, a bite to eat and a big hug. For the following few days, he did little but eat and sleep which he clearly needed.....the staff let him do this and gently integrated him into the daily life of the home. By Xmas day he was up and enjoying his new home ....he loved the Xmas lunch and his visit from our 2 labs (which again was encouraged by the staff). We are now just over a month into his new adventure, he has had a birthday (and got cake and pressies from the staff), he is happy, his health has hugely improved and he seems reasonably content.

The staff and facilities are first class and they run the home with all protocols and safeguarding measures observed.

All the staff in Apple Trees are wonderful, they are so kind and lovely.
I would recommend the home to anyone I knew, they are so caring and helpful and do everything they can to help the residents, they work very hard.

We are mostly very impressed with Apple Trees. Most of the staff are hardworking and very caring. It is the best care home that I have ever visited. I feel the fees are very expensive. The costs increased over 10% this year, which feels exorbitant in the current economic climate.

Lee Morgan

Job Title: Home Manager

Lee has worked in the care sector since 2009, during this time he progressed from care assistant to senior care, to deputy roles and in 2020 started to work in home management.


During this time working in the health care sector, I bring experience to the home, I like to build strong working relations with the team and stakeholders. I have managed large and small service in residential settings, and I promote an open-door policy for staff, residents, and families.


The quality of care that all residents receive is my passion, and I aim to ensure that all the residents in my care receive the best and most person-centred care possible.


We have a fantastic and caring staff at Apple Trees, and we would love to welcome you to our home.

Julie has worked at Apple Trees since June 2017, previously working at Vale Garden Houses.


Julie enjoys planning and facilitating a wide range of stimulating activities, promoting independence to meet our residents' lifestyle choices.


Julie has recently undertaken minibus training and takes the residents out on weekly outings.
