Absolutely loved this place for my gran and now great-gran. She took a short while to settle as so used to going out by herself but knew she needed help at night. This care home is spot on, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere.

I have always know how well Mum is looked after and cared for and about. In addition to this, the staff always care about the whole family. For our first face to face, Mum looked beautiful - hair all done and had favourite clothes on. Blow me welling up and a member of staff took lovely photos of us,
which I have sent to all of Mum's family and friends. It meant so much to me.

My mother was accepted into this care home about 4-years ago much to our relief.
As time passed and on my visits, I realised what professional care and attention she was receiving. I was getting updates on frequent occasions including doctors visits. I also was asked many times to review the "dolls"
assessment that was placed on my mother because of her condition.
To summarise, I found this home had a very caring staff and treated my mum with the utmost respect and was always clean and tidy. I'm sure in her own mind she was very happy to finish her days there.

I am pleased to hear that you are happy with the staff and the care they give, as providing a caring happy home is what we pride ourselves on most. In respect of your comments regarding food, we have recently introduced the ‘winter menu’ and it has been a hit amongst the residents with lots of positive feedback, however, I would appreciate it, if you have ongoing concerns, you would discuss them with the management team in the home, who will do their utmost to work with you to remedy this. I can also see from the review that there are areas where you feel that we can improve. We will reflect on this feedback and review these areas of our service to determine how they can be further developed.

This is the first time our family have considered using respite care and the staff have all made this a very positive experience. My auntie settled very well and everyone was always friendly and helpful when we rang to check how she was. We would recommend this care provider to others and will certainly

The care home is like a posh hotel, the rooms have ensuite shower and toilet facilities, no expense spared on the furnishing throughout. This posh hotel became my mums home for the next six years.
My Mum developed close friendships with some of the residents, mainly people who also have Parkinson's
like her.
Mum's past career, being within the nursing profession, meant that even stronger friendships were formed with the care staff, as my Mum would relate to the duty of care and would like to chat about her experiences. The care staff always had time to listen and chat which was a great comfort to not only my Mum but to me as well.
Grateful that the staff would keep me informed of my Mum's progress, St Peter's was a place where my Mum felt safe. Being someone who enjoyed her own company she was still able to have her privacy as well as her independence which was very important to her. Thank you for making my mums days more manageable and for enabling her to keep her spirits up.

Lovely clean care home, staff are very helpful and accomodating, always cheerful. The food is lovely and well prepared. Nothing is too much trouble anything my mum needs, they will try to get her. The senior lead and senior nurse on the ground floor are lovely, they are always cheerful and helpful.
They put out concerns over mam to the forefront of her needs.

After a traumatic visit to hospital, my mother returned to the care home ready to rest and recover.
The staff were so attentive meeting her every need. Assuring her she was safe and in good hands.
This is a huge relief to the family knowing she is getting the best care. The staff treat everyone with
dignity and respect. We are all extremely grateful for such a professional care team.

Our overall review is satisfied. Our mother is well cared for and most of her needs are met.
Our only issue is visitor seating! We have to collect chairs from the dining area so we can sit while visiting. I have discussed this with the manager.

St peter's Court is perfect for my mum. The care and support she is getting is outstanding. She is happy and very well cared for by all the staff. I was a little concerned over staff leaving, but I know the new staff are just as caring which has put my mind at ease. Although my mum has Alzheimer's she
is still quite active and she really enjoys the activities provided. Her hobby is dancing and St Peter's has provided all these activities and always includes my mum. Overall we as a family are happy with everything St Peter's Court has to offer and it's a comfort knowing my mum is happy.

Mum has been a resident in St Peter's Court for three years during which time she has been well cared for and is happy living there. Latterly, mum has been transferred into grace unit which is providing her with an increased level of care in order to meet her needs. Mum suffers from vascular dementia
and its reassuring to the family members that mum is safe, well cared for and happy.

Big relief. Dad needed a focus to work towards during his recovery from a broken hip and moving long term to St Peter's Court. From the start, staff have met, listened, laughed and talked with Dad as have residents, as Dad begins to settle in his new home. It is not easy for anybody leaving memories
and old homes but thank you to everyone helping in this transition.

What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?


“For me, kind care is adapting your service and support to every Resident’s wishes so that they are able to live how they want to.”


As a dedicated healthcare professional, Jamie has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. He is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Jamie closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. He extends this caring approach to his Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Jamie remarked:


“I am lucky to be part of a team of likeminded people who share my passion for providing the best care for our Residents in a comfortable and welcoming environment.”


Jamie’s proudest achievement is working hard to demonstrate his ability to progress from Deputy Home Manager to Home Manager within seven months. In spare time, Jamie likes fine art, being outdoors and spending quality time with friends and family.
