Thank you for your review. We are currently working on making our dementia unit more dementia friendly and this will include a refurbishment of the communal living areas such has the lounges and the corridors. At present, we are working with one activity co-ordinator however, we are actively recruiting to try and fill the vacancy. In the meantime, care staff are supporting with delivery of meaningful activities. The dedication of all relatives involved in the gardening club has been amazing as it has made such a difference to the garden in such a short period of time. Once the garden is complete, new furniture will be purchased for both residents and their families to use.

I joined the Care Home in January 2021, I have worked in Health and Social Care since I qualified as a Nurse in 2010. During this time I have worked in a variety of care homes in several different roles and worked in Regional Roles for the past five years.
I graduated from the University of the West of Scotland in 2010 and have been nursing ever since.
I have a passion for caring for the elderly and have loved working in Care homes as my full Nursing Carer. It's an honour and privilege to work in the Social Care Sector.
