Drayton is a newly built, purpose-built resident, nursing and dementia care strivings for excellence, ensuring that all service users and visitors are felt welcomed and that the care is delivered to a great standard and personalised for the individual. It is very important that all residents maintain their independence, and the home's staff do all they can to support them.

My mother was put into care in January 2022, she was diagnosed with Cancer. She was well looked after and cared for. Wonderful staff made her final days better. Although she was only in for three months, I can only say thanks for making her final days better.

My friend is under palliative care in the home. We were apprehensive at first but this is now my third visit and she is happier and more content than I've seen for a long time. The staff all seem caring, interested and happy to help her at all times, even to get her nails done regularly! Thank you.

My mum is profoundly deaf and suffers from vascular dementia. I knew that the time was coming when it would not be possible for me to continue to meet all of her increasing care needs at home, but this concern became a sudden reality in October 2021 when she was rushed into hospital, and unable to return
home.
My mum was discharged directly to Drayton Village from the hospital in November 2021. From the moment that she arrived she was welcomed and settled in by the amazing care staff at this establishment. She has continued to settle in really well, and is extremely happy and well cared for.
The place is always spotlessly clean and never smells. My mum's clothes are always well laundered and she is always well presented. The manager is excellent and I cannot praise the care and support staff highly enough.
I have also witnessed some truly excellent care of other residents whilst frequently visiting my mum.
I am so glad that she is settled at Drayton Village, and can't thank them enough.

Generally pleasant environment. Staff helpful. However, the visit time of half an hour is too short, even with Covid it does feel like you are being checked up on and hurried to leave because of this.

It was an incredibly difficult time when we realised Mum needed more care and the transition wasn't easy but very quickly, Mum was relaxed at Drayton Village and it was evident she had developed strong bonds with the staff caring for her.
I can't tell you how much that helps when you know your loved
one is content and so well cared for.

Warm friendly welcome on every visit. Very efficient COVID testing process. All carers and staff provide excellent service and look after our mother well and treat her with dignity and respect. Very impressed with the improved new flooring on the ground floor.

A warm and friendly welcome to my respite was retained by all members of staff. Throughout my short stay, every request was dealt with promptness and in a good manner. Two personal medical emergencies were professionally and efficiently dealt with, without fuss by truly caring staff.

My mother was in Drayton Village for nearly 6 and a half years before she passed away on 12 August 2020. In her last few weeks the carers and staff could not have done any more than they could have done prior to her death. In the 6 and a half years she was at Drayton Village she was treated with the
utmost respect and everyone was like her second family - just one big happy family.

Great care provided by a brilliant team of carers. As soon as the government talked about isolating, the home closed to keep the residents safe. We have been able to call, most days, to check up on our loved one but we also know they will call if there are any problems.

I feel the home has done its utmost to keep my family updated on the care my mother has received through the trying times of the COVID-19. Not being able to see our mother because of the lockdown has been very upsetting but the staff and management have been absolutely brilliant.

My mum has been kept safe and well looked after by all staff even during this difficult time for all of us and Drayton Village even went into lockdown 12th March to keep there residents and staff safe. Also during this time, I have kept in contact facetime with my mum which is most appreciated. The
staff are always very pleasant and helpful no matter what time of day and I’m happy my mum is in a place getting the proper care and attention that she needs and knowing her needs are being met even though I can't be there with her, thanks to all the staff at Drayton Village.

The rooms and lounges are spacious and clean; staff are very friendly and helpful; food good - and my mum always says that, although she would rather be at home, she's happy to stay in respite; in order to give me a break.

We found the quality of care excellent. The room was spacious and bright. Much thought was put into our Uncles complex needs. Overall his last weeks could not have been any better for him. We were very grateful for the thoughtfulness he experienced. Thank you to everyone.

My father lived in the home for 22 months, during this time we felt strongly as a family that he was well loved. He enjoyed his time here and the staff were AMAZING to him, even though at times he could be difficult. We were surprised and delighted that so many of his carers visited him in hospital
in his last 2 weeks. Each and every member of staff that my wife and I encountered were true professionals and a credit to the home. We tell all our friends how lucky we were to have found this home for our father and cannot recommend the home highly enough.
