Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission
needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each
individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing
Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or
appointments not covered by the NHS, toiletries, newspapers or magazines, any over the counter
medications that a GP wouldn’t normally prescribe such as paracetamol and indigestion relief, and any
other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.
Visiting can take place at any time that is mutually convenient to the Residents and their friends and relatives. If visitors would like to see the Home Manager, they are kindly requested to call in advance so that a meeting can be arranged at a mutually convenient time.

I am however very sorry to learn you are unhappy with your mum’s room colour. My door is always open so please feel free to come in and let me know what alterations you would like and it would be my pleasure to help. Our rooms are purposefully decorated in very neutral colours to enable relatives and residents to add their own colours and personal touches. However, you are more than welcome to request a change of colour should you wish, and our head of maintenance will be very happy to make this happen.

I am a registered general nurse with experience in acute cardiac care and learning disabilities. I joined the home in October 2016. I am a diabetes and fall prevention champion. I have proven clinical skills and advanced knowledge which led to me being promoted. I pride myself on being resident-focused and ensuring that all individuals we support are empowered to make choices and participate fully in the running of their homes. I enjoy spending time bonding with residents and their families, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and happiness are met. I was very proud to be awarded the Champion of Quality Care award in 2019.
