Fremantle Court provides excellent 24 hour residential and nursing care in a bright, spacious and modern care environment. The kind and dedicated care team are passionate about building relationships and delivering exceptional care to each individual.

The home has multiple cosy lounge areas which are ideal for friendships to develop and for residents to relax and enjoy the home as they wish.

The secure and tranquil gardens, surrounded by the stunning views of the Chiltern Hills, ensures everyone has independence to enjoy the garden for relaxing, light gardening or taking in fresh air.

There are many activities on offer which match the interests of the residents, including an annual summer fete and movie screenings in the on-site cinema room, all organised by the dedicated activity co-ordinator.

We visited the home from Yorkshire to see a distant relative and found the moment we arrived we were met with a welcome and smiling faces. Drinks were offered and a bite to eat which, after travelling so far, was most appreciated. Thank you.

A very special place that has helped my family through the hardest of times. They have cared for my Mum with dementia for the last 4 Years and are now nursing my Dad with terminal cancer. The place is home from home for us all to spend quality time together in a friendly, clean and attractive environment.
We could ask for no more.

My mother was resident in Fremantle Court for nearly 3 years. She was well cared for and loved by all the staff. At all times, visitors were made very welcome. The fees were rather expensive but we felt it was worth it for the excellent care provided.

When I walked through the doors felt like I was in a five-star hotel. A welcome greeting, lovely atmosphere, clean and smelt nice. I have never seen our friend we were visiting seem so relaxed and so happy - he is an awkward man to please. I have over the years visited several care homes, this one surpasses
all the others. Keep up the good work.

As my mother is bed bound it does not affect her but there should be activities at the weekend. Food is good and well cooked but the variety for a home of 90 people is a bit limited. The nurses and care staff are excellent, sometimes in trying circumstances and are to be complimented.

My mother is very happy in this care home, most of the staff are very good with her and attend to her needs.


Mum and most other residents like to see the same staff and build up friendly relationships. It appears that many of the staff are agency staff, which means that Mum is having to connect

with a new face and from the agency staff's point of view they have to constantly try and learn habits, food requirements etc, of their residents. Weekends seem to have agency staff cover and this can lead to confusion of the residents.


I have spoken to several agency staff and they would love to work full time as an employee at Fremantle Court, but can't as the money is poor. Surely if you do the maths, it would save money that is being lost on the agency company, to increase the hourly rate of employee carers and then retain good staff.


The choice of food is poor and the food at tea time can be very poor.
