The purpose-built care home has been designed to offer comfort in luxurious surroundings. Bedrooms are complete with ensuite facilities and residents also benefit from a café, bar, cinema room and hair salon.

    other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
    an agreed hourly charge for this service.

My wife has only been in the home for a short while but seems to have settled in very well. The staff are all friendly and helpful and we are pleased with how things are going with my wife's care.

The Mildenhall Lodge is a beautiful place, staffed by warm and friendly staff who really care about my father and the other guests.
When you walk in the door, you get an immediate sense of contentment, which truly reflects the situation at Mildenhall Lodge.
We visited a dozen or more care homes on
behalf of my father before selecting Mildenhall Lodge - thank goodness we were able to place him here.

My mother is Mildenhall Lodge. I can't praise the home enough. Mum has been here almost 2 years. Everything about this home is wonderful. The manager is exceptional along with all the staff, nothing is too much trouble. Wonderful people, wonderful food, wonderful accommodation and wonderful activities.
The home even arranged a nice party for mum on her 90th. The chefs did a brilliant job. I can't praise this place enough, thanks to everyone.

My step-grandmother’s stay of nearly four weeks at Mildenhall Lodge could not have been better. Whilst she was there, I rang her most days and she never said a single bad word about anyone or anything there. She thought the staff, food and facilities were wonderful, as did I. When I visited Mildenhall
Lodge to set everything up before she moved in, I immediately became aware of the professional and caring manner of all those I came into contact with, and received excellent and concise advice.


When I visited my step-grandmother a few times, I found that staff in the Garland Suite could not have been more helpful and kind and I noticed the genuinely caring, positive and thoughtful way they dealt with everyone. The teamwork throughout the home is first class.

This is a real Care home, the staff all truly care!
The atmosphere is welcoming; the activities carefully aimed at the less physically able and the less mentally able but extremely interesting and fun.
The food is brilliant and there are always homemade cakes to accompany the coffee.
The nursing
staff are observant and informative, whilst everyone is open and friendly.

So far a very positive experience. Just a shame my mother did not come here earlier when she was more able as I think she would have enjoyed her time here even more.

My mother-in-law is a new resident and every effort has been made by all members of staff to make her feel at home. Her clinical and psychological needs are all being addressed and we are very happy that she is safe and really well cared for. The staff all seem to go the extra mile to spend time with
the residents and keep cheery dispositions. The family feel that we are also made very welcome and kept informed at every stage.

Mum had been in a hospital environment for several weeks after a bad fall. I was reluctant to agree to mum going into a care home, but the choice was taken out of my hands.


Mum very quickly settled into her bright, well-appointed room. Staff are particularly kind and helpful, and I think it is this

that has made all the difference.

I visit a friend on a weekly basis for the St. Nicholas Hospice, Hospice Neighbours Scheme. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms and public areas are kept clean, neat and tidy. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents entertained. The food looks good and is in a kitchen which
is open for all to see.

My mum has been in Mildenhall Lodge for just over a year now and she has settled really well. The staff are attentive and keep me up to date with mums welfare, mum is always calm and appears happy when I visit. In all this is now mum's home and she is very settled.

Hannah Nurse

Job Title: Home Manager

I started working at Care UK in 2014 through an agency for Glastonbury Court.


I’m proud to have worked my way up, having started in the domestic team, then moving into care and a managerial position as a residential lead at Davers Court, and now Home Manager for Mildenhall Lodge.


I see managing a care home as a privilege. I am very passionate about my role and doing the best for the home, residents, relatives and colleagues. I believe that being open and honest, relatable, reliable and approachable to all groups is very important to achieve the best outcomes for all.


I love working at Mildenhall Lodge because of the challenge of my new role and I’m excited to build new relationships with the team and most of all the lovely residents and families here.


To be successful in this role you need to have patience, empathy, and an understanding of different residents, staff, and family members. You should be polite, always be there to listen and try and understand every situation through different eyes.


The best part of my job is seeing the residents happy, having fun and being able to live their lives the best they can.


A big passion of mine is football and I love to spend time with my daughter. We love to watch her dad playing football all weekend.
