Thank you for taking the time to complete a review for Eastbourne House, and I am pleased to find that on the whole, you found it very good. In response to the concern regarding the unavailability of a hot meal on your arrival, please accept my apologies for this, however, hot food can only be safely maintained for a short period of time, and we are unable to 'reheat' food. Regarding colleagues not responding to your call bell, I have reviewed the call alarm activation logs and discussed your concern with the team. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention as this will serve to help us to further improve our service. We do hope that you will come and stay with us again soon.

I would like to reassure you, that throughout Covid, Eastbourne House has continued to provide activities and events that have been chosen by the residents so that we can be assured that we are providing what our Residents want to be involved in. Eastbourne House provides regular Newsletters and updates to keep Relatives informed of the activities, and as restrictions ease, we look forward, when the time is right, to welcome the loved ones of our Residents to enjoy our events and activities with us.

Debbie has gained over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support to older people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Debbie closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Eastbourne House.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Debbie remarked: “The most rewarding part of my job is definitely having the opportunity to make a difference to our Residents’ lives.”
Away from work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, especially on their caravan holidays.
