Having spent two years as a resident at Lakeview, sadly my elderly mother recently passed away. In recent months she was bedridden and due to dementia and frailty was unable to make full use of the excellent facilities and activities offered. I will continue to remember the care and compassion she received
and send my sincerest thanks to all the staff at Lakeview.

We have recently moved my mother from another care home and have been so impressed by the manager, staff and welcome she has had. All staff have an excellent understanding of dementia, which has had a hugely positive impact on Mum's happiness and wellbeing. She feels secure, enjoys the activities and
wonders in the beautiful gardens. It has been a huge relief to find Lakeview and see Mum content and treated with dignity.

I am so glad that Mum has been at Lakeview during the COVID period. The staff have been very kind, even arranging in-room one-to-one activities and reading to Mum when she was poorly. I don't think she could have been better looked after anywhere.

Amazing care home who have looked after the residents with care and compassion throughout the Covid pandemic, ensuring their safety and well being at all times. The cheerful disposition of staff has remained throughout the difficult times we find ourselves in. The staff have gone above and beyond in
keeping the residents engaged in activities and finding ways to keep them in touch with their relatives when they have not been able to visit due to Covid precautions.
My father has been at Lakeview for a year and the peace of mind I have knowing he is well cared for is priceless.

I am the Lifestyle Lead at Lakeview Care Home. My background is working in a private hospital as a Patient Liaison Officer, and I have now transferred these skills into my position here. It is my role to provide a varied, stimulating and fun programme of activities for all the residents. We work hard as a team to understand each individual residents particular hobbies and passions, and to provide activities to suit them and their needs. I love seeing the smiles on their faces and the enjoyment they get from taking part in the varied activities that we provide.
