My mum stayed at Sandiacre Court for two weeks in October. She was made to feel very welcome by the staff, and they were very kind and caring.

My aunty moved to Sandiacre Court Care Center and settled very well. The staff are very kind and caring, activities on the go all the time in the home, and always a choice of meals. All staff and management have been great with making my aunt settle in very well.

Nice, modern, clean care home with friendly staff.
Always having entertainment days, lots of snacks choice at mealtimes, nice ensuite rooms lovely outside entertainment spaces.
Staff are always happy to help you.
Can take your family/friends or relations out whenever you like and can stay out
as long as they know you are taking them out.

Grandfather stayed for a few weeks respite. Fantastic home. The staff are extremely caring and can't do enough for you. He was well looked after and very happy being there. Absolutely no complaints, and would definitely recommend.

This home is now an excellent example of one with great leadership. The changes that have taken place in the relatively short time the new manager has been in the post are evident on every front. Although initially, I was very concerned with the subsequent high turnover of staff, it has become clear
that this new manager only accepts care staff who have and display the very special qualities required of a carer for the elderly, infirm and/or those living with dementia.
She has put in place a strong management team, who are completely accessible, and who listen to and act upon any and all feedback, whether it is praise or concern. All this has been managed in just over six months, so I look forward to the next six with optimism. Communication is now a two-way process, and relative meetings have also been reinstated with a management team prepared to put the family's moans, groans, requests and views to the group if they are unable to resolve them.
A huge improvement on this time last year

Lovely staff and very friendly and caring. Would definitely recommend this care home. My mum really enjoyed the activities and spending time with the other residents in the care home. My mum will definitely be having more respite care in the future. Thank you to all the staff.

My dad spent a week at Sandiacre Court on respite. He had a lovely time at the home, and the staff were very friendly. My dad really enjoyed the activities, arts and crafts and spending time in the garden. I would very much recommend this care home. Thank you to all the staff at the home who looked

It pains me to write this review but I feel I must share my experience in recent months. When my Mum first moved to Sandiacre Court it was great and as I reviewed at the time, a great weight off my shoulders. I really don't know what went wrong, but most of the staff left including management and the
CQC came in and highlighted the shortcomings. I'm loath to go into great detail but this had a detrimental effect on my Mum, to the degree that I have now had to move her to another home. Issues were mainly around cleanliness, lack of enrichment activities, and a general apathy towards any feedback where staff said the right thing and then did nothing. A real shame but I do not recommend this home and will happily back up with examples on all ratings given.

My mum moved into Sandiacre Court Care Centre in November 2021, not long after she had moved in, unfortunately, the home had an outbreak, and visits were restricted, this was hard for us all, as we have been a very close family. The staff at Sandiacre have been amazing, keeping us updated regularly
on how mMm was by phone and letters from Sandiacre Court updating on the visiting and the outbreak. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone. The quality of care is the best, and we are always kept updated on my mum's care. We have finally been able to visit Mum this week, and she looks well cared for, and most of all, she seemed very happy. Thank you to all the staff at Sandiacre for keeping her safe and for the fantastic job you all do.

My mum has been at Sandiacre Court for over six years and has been happy here - joining in with the activities, and we have all found the staff friendly, caring and helpful. She has a lovely room, personalised with her precious photographs and pictures. The home is professional and pleasant to come

We moved Mum up from London to be closer to us during the later stage of her life. Mum, who was 98 1/2, was excited to be relocating. The management and staff made the process and the move very easy to do, handled the paperwork and necessary assessments and arrangements without fuss. Unfortunately,
due to her health, my mum didn't get to experience all the home had to offer. The staff, who I can't praise enough, were very caring and compassionate. It is never easy to lose a parent; they gave me the strength and care that helped my family and me as the end approached. We can't thank you enough, thank you all!
