Despite a very challenging and disturbing year, during which my mother passed away (from old age) and my father moved from residential care to the dementia floor, the care provided has been excellent. The staff have gone above and beyond, particularly when my mother was approaching the end. Dad appears
to have adjusted well to his move and seems settled.

Lovely staff. Mum is very well looked after. I would have liked a "window" visit during the lockdown, as Mum cannot see well and does not like electronics, so unable to speak to her. I cannot thank Sandiacre Court enough for keeping her safe and well, and it is good to be able to hold hands with her
at last.

Sandiacre Court Care home has been extremely fantastic with my mum, as she was admitted during lockdown (and not able to visit). Since visiting has opened up, the staff have been amazing and helpful to myself.

A lovely home. I knew it was the best place for my mum as soon as I saw it, and she agreed on seeing it herself. It was the very best I could find in the area after a long search. It is beautifully kept and exceptionally clean. Residents are treated with dignity and courtesy. Management is efficient
and helpful this last year. As a concerned relative of a very elderly Mum, I must commend the staff for stepping up to do the plate, proving safe care of a consistently high standard during such an incredibly challenging time.

The staff are always very friendly, professional and make me feel welcome. One lady was with Dad on his birthday, she was so kind and lovely, and made the visit easier as Dad can't talk much. We know Dad is safe and well looked after, which is a big comfort to us. Thank you.

My aunt is currently at Sandiacre Court, I feel she is treated with dignity and respect, the staff are absolutely brilliant with her and nothing is too much trouble. When arriving at Sandiacre Court you are greeted with welcoming faces. The home is exceptionally clean and tidy, giving credit to everyone
there at this present time in these unfortunate circumstances, the activities gentleman is keeping family up to date with the social media page, sharing photos of our loved ones, and even offering video call, well done to all of you at Sandiacre Court for doing an amazing job in keeping our loved ones safe.

My Father has been in this home for nearly four years. The manager and her staff are unfailingly kind, efficient, informative and hard-working. Everywhere is kept clean, with regular updating of decoration. The food is excellent, mealtimes are made an occasion with beautifully laid tables and ample
choice. The activities are varied and plentiful, with the co-ordinator taking care to get to know each resident's preferences. I am writing this at the height of the Covid19 pandemic. The home has kept in constant touch and uses social media to show pictures of the residents and update us on activities. I cannot praise them enough at this time.

My mum has been here for just over a year and even though it took a while for her to settle in, we could not have picked a better home for her. All the staff are amazing and as a family, we know that she is being well looked after and cared for. My mum enjoys the entertainment they provide and even
though she is blind, they try and still get her involved in everything.

Sandiacre Court provides wonderful care for my wife in every respect. She has been there since March 2019 and is very happy and settled. Particularly important is that the carers know all the ''residents;'' by Christian names and I have never seen them illtreat anyone.
My wife is incontinent but this
appears to be handled with no problems.
The entertainment facilities are superb and have been enlarged recently during Covid19 by the introduction of an online app facility. I would recommend Sandiacre Court to anyone looking for excellent care.

When a close relative needed better care I was thrilled to find the now present manager at Sandiacre Court.
She had given my mother end of life care when she was at another care home in Ilkeston. She and her team were wonderful to Mum and her family members. Many of that team have moved to Sandiacre
with the manager.
I was very happy to move my cousin who has the onset of dementia from her own home to Sandiacre Court where I know that she will be cared for so very well.

Since my Aunt became a resident every visit everyone has been so lovely and kind, all staff excellent. My Aunt has a fantastic room is very well cared for and is very happy. Food always looks fantastic, home is spotless and smells lovely. Haven't got any faults or concerns at all we are so pleased with
everything and glad we chose Sandiacre Court.

The overall care which my mother receives at Sandiacre Court is excellent, the staff treat her with warmth and dignity whilst remaining very professional in their approach. Recently they went above and beyond in terms of helping my mother following a fall. My mother's transition into residential care
has been made far less troubling than I had anticipated because of the excellent standards generally at Sandiacre Court and because of the staff's approach to their work.

Since my sister moved into Sandiacre Court I have found nothing but wonderful care and compassion from all members of staff.
The staff are always kind and helpful to me, my family and other visitors.
The home is always very clean and tidy.
Menus seem good and varied and residents always say how good
the food is.
I have up to now nothing but praise for them.

From the initial moment that Dad arrived at Sandiacre Court, he has been treated with professionalism, compassion and kindness. This is a very well run care home with the manager leading an excellent team. The manager spends "hands on" time with the residents so that she knows them well and can support
the most appropriate care for Dad.
Staff have made every effort to improve Dad's mobility and they clearly meant the best for him. There is always a registered mental nurse on duty which is invaluable given Dad's dementia. We cannot thank staff enough.

The care at this home is excellent, friendly staff, brilliant manager. Nothing is never too much trouble. My father had excellent care especially the "end of life" care. Myself and my partner received excellent support before and after him passing away. This home is highly recommended.

My dad has settled very well and is happy. The care is good but staff are short staffed and very busy. They are very kind.
Food is good most of the time.
Entertainment provided by the entertainment manager is brilliant. He accommodates everybody of all abilities. The biggest problem is laundry!
So many socks, pants and handkerchiefs are missing and despite reported have not been returned. This home is very expensive to others locally.

Starting as a care assistant, Donna's passion for helping others led her to work with people of all ages, from those with learning disabilities to young adults and more recently the elderly. She's now an experienced care home manager with a thorough appreciation of how to deliver great care whilst nurturing a vibrant care community.
