Mum has Alzhiemers and experienced a quick decline over lockdown which resulted in her moving to Camberley Manor after a spell in hospital.
As a family we have looked after Mum but in our hearts, we knew Mum needed 24/7 specialist dementia care. Camberley Manor took mum in with open arms and us as
a family. Mum is thriving there, she looks 10 years younger and is having more fun than us.
Camberley Manor's communication with us has been outstanding. The staff have been brilliant, especially in the beginning he helped so much with the transition. We were welcomed with warmth by everyone who is involved with Mum's care, those I have met, and I am sure there are plenty more who we are yet to meet.
COVID makes visiting Mum difficult, she is still upset with us when we talk to her, however, I know she is having fun again! I have seen the pictures. Mum, prior to moving to Camberley Manor, was just existing at home, she is now living again. Thank you Camberley Manor.

After moving my Nan (who has vascular dementia) into Camberley Manor at short notice, unexpectedly following a partial hip replacement and during COVID-19, I can safely say that I could not wish for anything more in a care home. The facilities are amazing compared to any other home I've viewed and it's
worth every penny. All of the staff have been incredible at helping her settle in over the past 5 weeks, encouraging her to participate in activities and updating me regularly. They've even been able to identify changes in her behaviour already and have gotten the GP involved straight away each time. I can't thank them enough and would recommend the home to anyone.

The staff were always courteous, fun, respectful and welcoming, making the difficult decision to move my father into a care home that much easier to comes to terms with. The transition for my father was challenging at times but a necessity to ensure he remained safe and well cared for while on his dementia
journey. He was treated with care, dignity and respect and encouraged to participate in the numerous options of activities available to residents. As a family, we were always made to feel welcome and were included in decisions regarding his care. The support provided to us all was invaluable during his end of life care; in particular, the compassion shown by the entire team, including catering, nursing, management and the support staff demonstrates a team to be proud of and embodies the ethos of the entire care home.

The care and nursing staff at Camberley Manor are exemplary. There are very few care homes who go so above and beyond in their duty of care to their residents. My relative has complex needs and is treated with kindness and compassion and her physical health is well taken care of. It is of great relief
that my relative is happy where she is and I have no anxieties about her needs being met. The staff are open and communicative and keep me updated. They are polite, helpful and professional and best of all find time to keep the residents happy. I am very grateful to the care and nursing staff.

Beautiful care home, Dad is really poorly but seems to have perked up a little since residing there.
It looks more like a lovely hotel to what I expected of a care home.
Staff are very friendly and attentive to my father, also very informative when we call for an update.
Mum and I are ready to move
in.
We haven't seen Dad's room yet but this is clearly due to Covid 19 but we are sure it is just as lovely as the rest of the place. I have seen pictures on the website which are very impressive.

My mum was moved to the care home from hospital during lockdown; which was an awful time as the family were unable to settle Mum into the home. The manger and his team have been fantastic at giving us regular emails and phone calls to update us about how mum is settling in and even arranged a couple
of video calls to mum. This was so lovely as it has been so hard not being able to see her. We are on their social media page and see lots of pictures of Mum smiling and doing various activities which are so varied. They have also had an opera singer and Scotsman playing the bagpipes to the residents outside of the home. The facilities and staff are second to none. We speak to Mum daily, and she’s always telling us about the amazing meals she has had and how lovely all the different staff that interact with her are. The home has a real homely feel, and Mum feels really settled, which we didn’t expect as she has vascular dementia, so gets very confused easily. Highly recommend this care home.

I just wanted to thank the staff at Camberley Manor for the way in which they handled the admission of Mum. Despite the extremely challenging circumstances in the current COVID-19 environment, the staff have made every effort to make Mum’s first few days fun and enjoyable. She seems to have settled

Both my parents have been resident at Camberley Manor for a year. The staff have always treated them with warmth, patience and empathy and my mother enjoyed the social events and made new friends. Sadly my mother's health took a turn for the worse in February and she was admitted to hospital. We brought
her home for the last few days of her life and the care provided by the carers and nurses was without parallel. She was treated with dignity and respect and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff from the wonderful management team to the carers, nurses, social team and the ancillary staff were amazing and so supportive of us during this traumatic time. They were especially wonderful to my father who struggles to understand what has happened. I find it difficult to put into words how much their support has meant to us. Their ongoing care of my father gives us great peace of mind. Thank you, Camberley Manor.

My mum had two weeks of respite care at Camberley Manor. It was a big step for us and quite emotional leaving her, but she was treated with care and respect and after two weeks left there feeling stronger and fitter. The staff were kind and considerate and nothing was too much trouble. Mum joined in
with many of the activities, the staff always made sure she was aware of them and looked after her when participating. She enjoyed them all. My dad visited every day and was always made very welcome, joining Mum for lunch on occasions. Mum would happily return there should the need arise. Thank you, Camberley Manor.

My sister and I transferred our mother from another care home as we were very unhappy with her treatment. Whilst the cost is higher at Camberley Manor, we are delighted with her care and the lovely staff, who are always smiling with a keen sense of humour at this difficult time.
The hairdresser was
so patient with mum, whilst perming her hair, as she was very difficult. Thank you all so much.

After looking at four other homes for the elderly, I was very apprehensive about my mother going into a care home. However, as soon as I arrived at Camberley Manor, I knew I had found the right place. Clearly the home offers much comfort and excellent facilities but far more important than this are
the staff and how much they care. My mother’s stay at Camberley Manor was sadly short but during her time there, I had complete peace of mind that she was being well looked after both physically and emotionally. Nothing was too much trouble and as her needs increased so did the support she was given and always with warmth and compassion. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this home and I shall always feel grateful that my Mum was so well cared for at the end of her life.

It was a significant decision to "relinquish" my caring role for 2 weeks - my husband is now physically and mentally frail after a working life of intense activity and sporting challenge and greatly loved by his whole family. My own professional life was called into play in my response to the care,

My friend moved into Camberley Manor back in November from another nursing home and the change in him has been wonderful. He seems so much happier and more relaxed which is so nice to see.
It's like an all-inclusive holiday, he even gets regular aromatherapy massages. I think everyone deserves to be

My mother has been a resident since Camberley Manor opened.
All the staff are very warm and welcoming - it is a "home from home" for my mother. I do not have a bad word to say. The current home manager has done an excellent job raising the standards in every way.

Camberley Manor care home is a wonderful care home and the amazing staff have made my parents, who are in their late 80s, feel very welcome, nothing seems to be too much trouble. It is lovely to see them both happy, relaxed and cared for and enjoying their time together there.

I stayed at the home in the summer following a nasty fall. The staff and management are fantastic. The home is beautiful as are the people and facilities. I cannot thank Camberley Manor enough. If you are looking for a home you will not find better I am sure.

I cam to visit my friend and ex-neighbour before Christmas, who recently moved in.
He seems very settled, happy and relaxed which is great. I am really happy he has adjusted well and I think that has come from a good team at the care home.

I am a Registered Nurse qualified from India in the year 2010. Since then I have worked for more than 8 years in both in-hospital and pre-hospital settings in India, Dubai and UK. I am mostly experienced in accidents and emergencies and my recent job was as a Deputy charge nurse at NHS UK where I further developed my clinical and leadership skills.


My aspiration to join the TLC group is to work with an organisation which aims to create an excellent workplace and team in order to deliver a high standard of service to the residents

I joined Camberley Manor Care Home in 2023. Previously I worked in the hospitality industry where I was responsible for managing high-end corporates, private events and weddings. I have 10 years of experience in curating events just the way my clients want it. I entered the care industry during a pandemic and since then I have never looked back. My experience in delivering domiciliary care and being based in a newly commissioned care home provided a wealth of experience and I feel very passionate about supporting families in their search for the right home.


I am delighted to be a part of Camberley Manor Care Home, an award-winning care home located in the affluent region of Surrey that provides person-centric dementia, residential and nursing care in a peaceful and warm environment.

Job Title: Hotel Services Manager

I began my TLC journey in May 2021 as the Head Chef at Camberley Manor. I worked in the industry for the previous 10 years before joining and was drawn in by the Values of Truth, Love and Compassion.


My Passion has always been cooking and making people smile with food, I completed my studies in Hospitality management and professional cookery at college and started working at the age of 15 as a ‘tea lady’. I believe that the elderly should have an outstanding experience at every mealtime with the correct level of nutrition.


During the year 2022, I was recognised as the Great British Care Chef of the Year for the South region and came in 1st place for the South-East Region for the National Association of Care Catering, care chef of the Year competition, not to mention being placed in the final for the National Care Awards. I am so proud of these achievements and decided at this point in my Chef career that it was time to hang up my Jacket.


As I begin my journey now as the Hotel Service Manager I wish to achieve outstanding services across the whole home, ensuring that our residents are at the heart of everything we do.

I am Salika Handi, an accomplished Finance and HR Manager with over 15 years of experience in the banking and hospitality industries across the UK, Qatar, and Sri Lanka. With a diverse professional background that includes significant tenures at HSBC, Qatar Airways, and Hertfordshire Council, I refined my skills in financial management and hospitality services to deliver exceptional results. I possess dual Master’s Degrees, including an MBA from Kingston University and an MBS from Colombo University. I bring a wealth of expertise to my role at TLC, having joined in December 2023 with the aim of ensuring the seamless operation of Finance and HR functions. My dedication to resident happiness and well-being is evident in my commitment to providing top-notch care and hospitality to all individuals, including residents, their families, and visitors alike. Meet Harry Tucker, our exceptional Head Chef at Camberley Manor Care Home! Harry joined TLC in January 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles. He spent 5 years with Caring Homes, starting as a Sous Chef at Home of Compassion before becoming Head Chef at both Horsell Lodge and Dormy House.


In his current role, Harry leads a fantastic team of Chefs and Catering Assistants, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met with meticulous care, planning diverse and delicious menus, and valuing resident feedback.


Renowned for his culinary skills and dedication, Harry creates meals that delight our residents every day. Outside of work, he loves spending quality time with his family, attending cricket matches with his dad, and swimming.

Dimpal Gadher

Job Title: Office Manager

My name is Dimpal Gadher. I have worked in the care sector for the last 12 years.


I have joined TLC in May 2022, initially, as a Head Housekeeper. Within my job I have been provided a wealth of support and opportunities to achieve my goals. I am now Onboarding Champion, Manual Handling Champion and Engagement Champion in Camberley Manor.


In April 2023 I was offered the role as Admin Assistant and have since been promoted to Office Manager. I love to see the families of our residents and build close bonds with them.


In my free time, I enjoy listening to Bollywood music and of course love to spend quality time with my Family.

Crystal joined Camberley Manor Care Home on June 10, 2024, as a Customer Service Supervisor, taking a lead on role modelling an outstanding customer experience across all areas of the business; delivering exceptional customer service and proactively addressing customer feedback with effecting communication and resolution.


What I enjoy most is the opportunity to make a positive impact on both residents and their families. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of a team that provides not just care, but a supportive and compassionate environment where residents can feel valued, safe, and comfortable. I take great pride in ensuring that all aspects of the care home experience, from communication to service delivery, are handled with the utmost professionalism and empathy. Being able to listen to residents and their families, addressing their concerns, and helping create a warm, welcoming atmosphere is very rewarding.
