Netley Court is a purpose-built residential care home set in the heart of the village of Netley Abbey and sitting right on the waterfront giving stunning, waterside views that provide residents with a calming and relaxing outlook. With easy access to major road networks, a convenient train station, excellent service by buses and a generous on-site car park, it is easy and convenient for family and friends to visit.

The spacious and practical bedrooms combine lovely furnishings with the latest design features that make independence a genuinely achievable goal and all come with a large, well designed and enabling en-suite wet room. Along with a belief that couples should to continue their life journey together, Netley Court also offers specially designed couple suites where fantastic care teams can provide care and support both individually and as a husband and wife.

The home delivers specialist dementia support, with residential care in separate specialist areas, through their own highly trained and dedicated teams. The key to all they do is a focus on dignity, personal choice and independence; all of the residents are encouraged and supported to do all they can for themselves. It is clear in all that they do, every resident, every day, gets the care comfort and companionship that they and their loved ones would wish for.

All the staff at Netley Court are very kind, attentive and efficient. There seems to be an ethos of kindness, which stems from the carer staff, to the kitchen staff, cleaning staff and reception staff, which is wonderful. The entertainment and recreational staff are extraordinary, they seem to come
up with new and interesting things for the residents to do. I wish my mum had moved in sooner.

Netley Court is a beautiful home with for reaching views over the water, something that is very important to my father-in-law.
The staff are very attentive and caring, always using my father-in-law name and engaging with him.
He enjoys the activities but would like to get out for a walk more often.
The meals are well presented with ample choice available. It doesn't really feel like a care home, with several homely lounges on each floor to be with other residents or quietly on your own.

Such a welcoming and caring home. Outstanding location and environment. The team/staff are so friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed environment. The garden and views cannot be beaten. The team are outstanding in terms of assisting any transitions. Food is superb. The activities are outstanding and
varied, ensuring exercise and stimulation. Boat trips and cycling - fantastic. Can't thank all at Netley Court enough.

Everyone is very welcoming and remembers my name. For any issues, I'm able to speak to the carers and they deal as best they can or make notes for other people to see. The activities ladies are very good, they keep my Mum entertained.

My dad is currently at the start of his four week respite care at Netley Court. So far I have been very impressed with the care and attention shown both to my dad and his extended family. On arrival he was greeted by his first name and has been to date - such a little thing but counts for a lot. All
staff are very friendly and greet him/us with a smile and hello. He has just turned 90 and the staff at Netley Court were so accommodating, laying on a celebratory meal for his close family and made dad feel very special. We couldn’t have asked for more. I am confident the remainder of his stay will be as positive as the start.

My Dad went into Netley Court Care Home in April following a couple of falls in his home. I cannot fault the care provided by all of the staff at Netley Court. Right from day one the admins manager and the deputy manager were welcoming and professional. Dad felt instantly at home. All of the staff go
out of their way to help Dad at every opportunity. They seem to know everybody's names and personal interests as well as the names of all the relatives, it's a very personal and caring service. The facilities are great and the garden overlooking Southampton Water is stunning. I cannot recommend Netley Court enough.

It appears to me that the residents are paying over-inflated fees for the rooms that are empty and cannot be filled. Bring in more people by reducing the fees.

On arrival, a friendly and helpful welcome from reception.
During my visit, a very helpful member of staff enabled the resident and myself to enjoy the beautiful garden. The garden itself has very appropriate seating for residents with mobility difficulties, and the flowers added a cheerful note.
While we were enjoying sitting outside in the sunshine, other residents were experiencing the care given by the staff, which seemed excellent - it was good to witness this.
The actual building is bright and tastefully decorated.

I was really pleased to see my mother cared for so well. The knowledge of my mother's day-to-day condition, care issues and the onward plan was very impressive. From the general manager to care assistants, the quality of the care at Netley is always good. The ambience, cleanliness, furnishing and gardens

Netley Court Care Home was ideal for what my friend was in need of at the time. The care she received was very good and helped her on her way to full health. She did not want to leave her room and join in on the activities but from what I witnessed they were good. She enjoyed the views and the garden

I feel there could have been a lot more information about how the home is run and the different ways I now know we can keep in contact. At the onset dad needed more help with his personal care; did the staff not see this? The laundry has been a problem. One person available to contact would have been
preferable. The staff seems very busy maybe a time slot could be given? So many email addresses. After six months we now see how the home is run it would have been useful to know more at the onset there has been some frustration. There are aspects of care and human interaction which appear to be very nice - a good atmosphere. The garden is a great place the decor inside is fine. The phone system seems problematic. Is there a need for more staff?

I was so pleased my mother enjoyed her two week respite stay at Netley Court Care Home. All the staff were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The two weeks stay gave mum a new lease of life with the daily activities and the company of other residents. The facilities at Netley Court were excellent.

This is my third visit to Netley Court Care Home. I have had two respite care visits after major surgery and one for a Christmas Break. I have always found the facilities first-class with a professional and caring staff. It is a luxury care home providing first-class service. The Admissions Advisor

I manage the running of Netley Court to ensure we provide high-quality, individual care in a nurturing, engaging environment so that our residents can live happy and fulfilling lives. That joy for life spills over into their fun and lively personalities that give constant pleasure, not just to me but to my team too.


My experience:
With over 20 years of experience in a variety of care management roles, I am delighted to return to looking after residents. I hold a Registered Manager’s award and a City & Guilds teaching certificate.


About me:
In my spare time, I love getting out into the outdoors with my dog, spending time with my family, eating out, and reading.

What I Do:
I joined Cinnamon, as Deputy Manager at Netley Court, in May 2023. I work beside the General Manager as part of the management team who makes sure that both residents and staff members are safe and well looked after. My role is to ensure that every resident in Netley Court receives high-quality care which is well deserved.


My Experience:
I have worked in the Care Sector since 2012 when I started my journey as a Care Assistant. In 2019 I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Community and Social Care Studies. Working with and for people who live with dementia has always been my passion. I would like to think that I am making a difference in residents' and families' lives by supporting them and fulfilling their needs.


About me:
I am originally from Poland. I love to go back there for a holiday and spend some quality time with my family and friends. My lovely partner and I have a daughter who is my complete world. I am a big pet lover. I have 2 cats Elsa and Biscuit. I love good food and dinner parties.
