Kingsbury Court Care Home is a 2015 addition to the Maria Mallaband care home range, purpose-designed to offer three separate floors for residential, nursing and dementia care practice.

All floors has its own dining room, lounge and activities area.

Residents can choose from spacious communal areas, dine in style and relax in en-suite bedrooms.

Kingsbury Court is in scenic surroundings and offers long and short-term care packages depending on requirements.

I have visited Kingsbury Court twice and on both occasions have received a very warm welcome. The staff appear to be very caring, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My long time family friend is extremely happy. She enjoys the activities and entertainment, the food and the care she receives.
I have been able to join her for lunch and have found the food of a very high standard and have been made very welcome in the dining room.
I cannot comment on all the categories but my overall impression is of an excellent care home.

My mother needed to go into care after a spell in hospital. The staff at Kingsbury Court were extremely helpful in aiding her transition from looking after herself to being in a home. She settled very well and is happily enjoying living in what she describes as a five-star hotel with care. The rooms
are modern, clean and comfortable. There a plenty of activities arranged and she just loves her new life.

I visit my friend who is a resident and find the staff all very cheerful and helpful. My friend tells me the staff are all very kind. There are lots of activities which she can join in with if she wants to. The food is very good and she gets a glass of red wine with her meal, something she loves.

All the staff at this home are superb, what in my mind a care home should consist of. Welcoming, happy residents good bright décor and staff who always personally involve themselves in the comfort and well-being of their patients. A+++

The carers provide as much care as they possibly can, to the extent that I feel it goes beyond "regulation". They understand my mother and know how to achieve the best in communicating with her. Relating to her past experiences as a nurse herself, her previous love of looking after her dogs and knowing
who we are as her family i.e when I visit with my daughters or husband, acknowledgement from the staff who know who we all are. I could say more but just don't have the words.

All the carers, reception staff, catering staff and cleaners have been wonderful with my mother. At times she can be very difficult and shouting when she wants someone to come, but they have been very patient with her. She is a lifelong vegetarian and they have accommodated her diet very well. My mother
does not want to participate in any activities.

Kingsbury Court is a beautiful care home with incredible staff from the Manager down to the cleaners. Everyone, my family and I have come into contact with have been very professional, polite and extremely caring. They made my father's time there a very happy one. We could not have wished for a better
environment and the three careers that were mainly associated with him took the time to get to know all about him, his likes and dislikes and always ensured he had plenty of his favourite things - tea and biscuits! There are several activities going on during the week and they encouraged dad to join in but understood if he didn't want to and respected his wishes. Communication was excellent between the care home and ourselves - as was the cleanliness and food. The quality of staff was excellent too. We couldn't have wished for a better place for dad. Thank you, Kingsbury Court!

My mother spent the last year of her life in Kingsbury Court Care home, she was well looked after and cared for. She was always happy and smiling and had no complaints. The staff were always caring and helpful and would always make time for her considering she had communication problems.
The process
of the MMCG group made it so easy for us to get her in the residential home which makes a stressful time less stressful.
5* accommodation deserves a 5* review.

Excellent facilities, lovely caring staff. Catering staff very friendly. Management and communication to residents families very poor. Lots of promises but little action re garden landscaping, newsletters, email communication about staff changes etc. Lots of management change which is unsettling for

Kingsbury Court is clean, tidy and well organised. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Problems are always sorted out quickly and efficiently. The reception staff are caring and care staff are all excellent and always accommodating to the needs of the resident and family. Communication is excellent.
We are very satisfied with the excellent care which my dad receives.

Kingsbury Court is always very clean and tidy. The staff are always ready to answer any questions and are attentive.
Sometimes some of my father-in-laws belongings go missing eg. shaver, glasses etc and anything that can be done to alleviate this would be great. All in all very good.

José Pinto

Job Title: Home Manager

Hi, my name is José and I began my career in healthcare as a Paramedic in Portugal. I was please to progress into elderly care specialism when I came to England in 2014 and now have a wealth of experience in the care home sector as a Registered Nurse.


My experience has focused on delivery of resident care through leading and supporting my teams in high quality. I have a passion for coaching and mentoring and I love the opportunity to nurture skills with the team and individuals that I am privileged to work alongside.


My management style is to ensure that all we do is very much with a proactive approach and ensuring resident focus, wellbeing, safety and care is at the forefront our delivery and that we meet our clients, resident and families expectations.


I thoroughly enjoy the ongoing relationships I build with our residents and their families to provide a holistic whole home approach to care and to know I can offer families peace of mind in knowing their loved one is well cared for.
