A close friend is a resident here and has had excellent treatment and care throughout her stay. She is now on end of life care and dignity and discretion are preserved and nothing is too much trouble, she is valued and loved and dignity is always at the forefront of her treatment. The room is beautifully
clean and the domestic staff do their utmost to make sure everything she needs is available.

My mother has been here for 3 months and has been made to feel very welcome, safe and cared for. She is very unwell but despite this, she is slowly getting better. All we wanted was for her to feel safe and secure and she truly is.
The staff are really kind and considerate. They have so much patience.
I feel so reassured and less stressed having her here.

Since our mum arrived at St John's, we have all been made to feel welcome and mum is enjoying her time here. Staff are attentive, polite and nothing is a problem, taking the care for our mum to what we think is above and beyond. The home has a lovely atmosphere with lots for the residents to do and
achieve. Holkham (Dementia ward) is amazing and I like that activities are arranged involving everyone in the home. St John's tries their utmost to maintain a home from home environment and including the relatives in everything they do.

Initially, there were minor problems, probably through unfamiliarity with our requirements, but these gave now been resolved. The accommodation (including the luxurious fittings of the home), the meals and everything else is excellent. There has been a marked improvement in the service provided on
Sandringham suite.

I originally booked two weeks at St John's House in September as my daughter was to be away visiting her daughter and husband. Because I had a bad fall (no fracture) on 23rd August I was unable to stay with my son. After 2 weeks in hospital, I then went to St John's House. Initially, I couldn't raise
my left leg and foot so needed help at night time. The staff at St John's were very helpful with all of this and encouraged me with cheerful support. I added on an extra week to increase my independence. My entire experience was excellent, visitors and family enjoyed a welcome and lunches in the lovely restaurant. Obviously, the staff are very well trained. Any delay in continuity while helping because of emergencies was always explained and kept to the minimum. Depending on individual problems. I would certainly recommend the care provided at St John's to those known to me.

I arrived still under the influence of the anaesthetic and not feeling very well following spinal surgery. I didn't seem to recover until a couple of days before leaving. In this strange mental state, it would seem that I was not too happy with one or two things, mainly the tea which lately was perfect.
It turned out that my taste buds were impaired due to the anaesthetic! Poor girls, I did apologise. Not until my third day did my name appear on my door and on one night the night staff said they didn't think there was anyone in my room. Anyway, all is forgotten and I hope I might come again if needs be. Thank you for my care from such happy staff.

My father and all members of the family have been impressed by the high standard of care at St John's House. The physical environment combines the impression of a hotel with the comfort of home. The administrative and support staff have been welcoming. Thoughtful and efficient. An emphasis is placed
on respect for privacy, dignity and choice while offering encouragement to maintain physical and cognitive activities. The standard of personal care and monitoring of health concerns has been excellent. The exceptional skill and kindness of individual care staff have convinced our father to choose to make his stay permanent.

This care home is like no other, I would describe it more as a hotel with care/support staff. Going into residential care is a daunting task for anyone. However, this has not been the case here. My mother has settled in so well and is so appreciative of all the support, care and attention she receives.
For me as her daughter, I don't need to worry at all. I don't have to think is she being treated well because I know she is.

My mum stayed in St John's for respite care for just under 2 weeks. The place is amazing and the staff are truly caring and professional. The home although new is kept to a high standard. It is like a 5* hotel, the rooms are bright and decorated to a high standard. The staff make everyone welcome no
matter whether you are visiting or you have made it your home. They are all so kind and understanding. I would highly recommend St John's to anyone who is in need of respite or a permanent home. Thank you to everyone who took care of my mum.
