Wardley Gate Care Centre is a brand new, purpose built, luxurious, state-of-the-art residential care home for older people, operated by the award winning company Care Group Enhanced Care Limited which has 30 years' experience in this sector and famed for its fair price guarantee. The Home is located in Wardley, Gateshead close to Leam Lane, Heworth, Pelaw, Bill Quay, Hebburn and Washington with Pelaw Metro Station only 500m away.

The Home provides luxurious accommodation for permanent residents, long and short term respite care as well as trial stays. Wardley Gate also provides specialist care for anyone less mentally alert due to dementia in their dedicated units which are staffed by specialist experienced and caring staff to make life as rewarding as possible.

From the moment you step through the door you know your relatives are in good hands. The place is warm and welcoming, always decorated, with themed events. The staff acknowledge you from entry. It is clean with modern furniture, with plenty of wide open spaces for the residents to move around safely.
Activities are always available for those wishing to participate and are always available for those wishing to participate and are carried out to the highest standard. The joy the residents gain from the activities is self-evident by the content. Happy and well cared for residents - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wardley Gate to one and all.

An amazing care home. Everyone working there is so friendly, professional and caring. It has a very warm, welcoming family feel. The activities organised are outstanding and everyone gets involved. The care provided to my mam is second to none. It's always spotlessly clean and very well organised. They

Mam was very well cared for in the time she was at Wardley Gate. The staff are amazing, they treated her with love, respect and compassion and as a family we knew she was safe and looked after. We were also welcomed and nothing was too much bother. The home itself is extremely clean and homely. Mam
had a beautiful room. The activities offered are amazing, there is such a wide variety of them.

The staff here are wonderful. They really take the time to ensure that they know the residents individually. They understand the person's likes, dislikes and triggers.

Really happy with the care my dad gets. He's very well looked after and family are always made to feel accommodated when visiting. It was a hard decision for my dad to go into Wardley Gate but it was the right thing to do and he is doing so well. The social media page is great to keep us in the loop

I can not compare to other care homes but I am so thankful and grateful I somehow found myself at Wardley Gate Care Home on the sad day I had to find somewhere for my mam. Firstly, the Manager then and still now is a credit to the Company and went above and beyond for me and my mam. I never had a problem
with any of the lovely staff who cared for my mam. They all treat my mam as if she was their own, with respect, dignity and love. The whole team from activities, entertainment, food, housekeeping, admin, work so hard.
The home was always clean and nice smelling, the room was light and spacious. The other support organised through the home like doctors and nurses were very good when needed. The management and finance staff were also very good and informative on the business side of things. My mam's final home and I have nothing but praise for Wardley Gate and the staff that make it what it is.

The decision to move my mother into Wardley Gate was based on experiences I've had in a professional capacity having visited many of the care homes in the area. The building is fairly new, the rooms are spacious and well equipped and the facilities are modern. The décor and cleanliness are of a high
standard, however, the most important aspect of any care home is the standard of care provided by the staff. In my opinion, Wardley Gate excels in this area. Based on my observations, my family and the feedback from my mother I'm very happy with the care she is receiving. I'm grateful to all staff for their professionalism, friendliness and compassion shown in providing her care and the smooth running of the home.

Simply cannot fault this Care Home - Facilities, Cleanliness, Management or Staff. Prior to arriving at Wardley Gate my mother had been in another care home - this was by some distance the best.
All the carers are such lovely people - dedicated to their profession and the residents. I have nothing
bad to say about the love, care and support my mother received or the family during difficult times - we couldn't have coped without them.

As a resident at Wardley Gate for five years, my mam received excellent care.
It is literally home-fro-home - modern, clean and spacious where staff ensure the resident's needs are always met, and nothing is too much trouble. The management and staff are friendly, very approachable and always kept
me updated with her care needs, especially during Covid.
The activities coordinator keeps the residents entertained with some brilliant ideas, and all events throughout the year are celebrated.
During the last week of Mam's life, the staff were amazing with her and us as a family, showing so much love and care towards us.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Wardley Gate Care Home for a loved one.

An excellent effort in looking after my father. The staff are so kind and attentive with him. Even over the busy period, the staff made such a fuss over all of the residents. The home itself is never anything other than spotless. It makes it so much easier knowing my Dad is well looked after.

I recently visited my aunt at Wardley Gate Care Home. It has been a difficult past couple of years for our family as we have not been able to see her as regularly as we would have liked. Wardley Gate have always accommodated us as best they could following their guidelines. My aunt is very comfortable

Putting my mother into a home was heartbreaking, but the right thing to do to keep her safe. From day one the staff at Wardley Gate have been amazing. Unfortunately, my mother fell and broke her hip during the night and the staff absolutely proved how good they are. From recognising the severity of
her injury, getting the right help, staying with her, reassuring and comforting her, and communicating with me, they were brilliant. Hopefully, she’ll be back at Wardley Gate soon. I’m so glad that she lives in such a lovely place with lovely skilled staff. I could never praise or thank them enough.
