Beech Hall is located at the centre of the Armley community in Leeds. The home was rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission in February 2020. The home is purpose-built and finished to a very high standard.

Beech Hall provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 64 residents in single en suite rooms with wet room provision. Beech Hall's facilities include a cinema room, coffee shop/ cafe and a number of quiet lounges.

The home benefits from a Tovertafel table which connects people and provides interactive entertainment for residents, especially those with dementia.

Excellent, caring home.
My wife was treated with much love and respect and all her mobility and health issues were handled with the best professional care. We will certainly come back again in case of need.

My mother-in-law came to Beech Hall after a fall and hospital stay in November 2023. She quickly settled and is loving the activities, especially any craft-related ones.
The staff go above and beyond to make her comfortable and happy. When we visit, she always seems happy and well cared for.
As a
family, we are all very reassured that she is in the right place and that by being in company and looked after, her life has been enriched and extended.

Pros: It was with great reluctance that my mother agreed to try a home. After the death of my father, she was depressed, uncommunicative and she did not speak, eat or even get out of bed. I feared I had lost my mother as someone I knew and loved and life felt like a true grind. I tried, I really tried
but could not help her on my own.
We chose Beech Hall because of a personal recommendation and at first, it seemed like we would get more of the same, just in a home instead of at her own house.
Slowly, over the past six months, that has changed. Completely. She is bright, alert, happy and engaging with the people around her. Her physical health has improved, her mental well-being is off the charts and, best of all, I have the mum I thought I had already lost come back to me. Through patience, care and kindness, they have created an amazing environment where she is really happy, which is a minor miracle for an anti-authoritarian, feisty ex-artist.
Cons: The lady in the office is bossy!

In my view, Beech Hall far exceeds what I expected in terms of care, facilities and the well-being of the residents. The staff are very caring and understanding towards the residents and always put their needs first. Without doubt, I have never seen such care provided to the residents of a care home.

Beech Hall in my opinion is an excellent care home. The staff are so obliging, caring and understanding of the needs of each and every resident. The home provides excellent care and tailored activities to stimulate and engage the people in their care. Staff have also been so kind and courteous to family.

Mum has been at Beech Hall for a year now and she was very quiet when she first came but after a couple of months, she was back to her usual self. The staff encouraged her to get involved with the other residents and activities. She has now made quite a few friends and she is really enjoying it. The
staff are wonderful nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing and I can tell mum is enjoying it as she has put on over a stone in weight. I am so glad we chose Beech Hall and I wholly recommend it. Thinking of booking myself in too.

Mum's condition and general health have improved greatly since coming to Beech Hall. The staff encourage her to be as independent as possible and support is given only after discussing it with her and gaining her consent. Her room is clean, cosy and inviting and she has many of her own photos and pictures
on the walls and plenty of room for her belongings and bits and bobs from home. Our family are treated as friends when we visit and we are made very welcome. All the staff know Mum's name and seem to be familiar with her likes and dislikes and her personality - that goes for cleaning, catering and support staff as well as care staff. The ethos of the home seems to be to get to know residents so that all are treated as individuals with kindness, genuine care, and understanding. There is a full daily programme of activities to stimulate and entertain. As a family, we agonised about the decision to place Mum into care but we couldn't have found a better place for her.

Mum is very happy and content in Beech Hall. The staff are very caring and friendly, they treat Mum with love and respect. There are always plenty of activities for Mum to join in with. The staff are always friendly to visitors and keep us informed of any concerns to Mum's well-being. Mum says she can't
fault it, the food is lovely and the staff look after her and take care of all her needs. The home and rooms are always clean and tidy. I would have difficulty finding a fault with the home.

Mum was in two different care homes before Beech Hall. Both care homes were nice but Beech Hall outshines both of them, hands down. The staff are really helpful and so friendly. Mum is really happy here. The manager is unbelievable and also runs a tight ship. I could not wish for my mother to be in
a better care home and they make a lovely cup of tea!

Beech Hall is just the most wonderful place for my nana to spend her time. The team are incredible, so caring and supportive and really work hard to ensure that my nana's needs are met and communicate clearly with us, as a family, to make sure they know my nana as a person and provide truly personalised
and holistic care. I have been visiting with my own daughter (1-year-old) since she was both always greeted warmly and feels part of the family. They go above and beyond to help us celebrate special times and everyone, from management, reception, care staff, catering and cleaning, are just fabulous!

On walking in the building you are immediately wrapped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are caring and approachable and treat my mum with dignity and care. There are always activities taking place that Mum can take part in and relatives and visitors are always made welcome. It was a hard
decision to place Mum into care but made easier by the care and warmth of the staff and the way the home is run.
