I was a volunteer visiting a lady in her own home and continue to visit her as a friend when she moved into Tremona Care Home. Staff were always friendly and welcoming. I was free to visit any time of day. Staff always offered me refreshments even if I visited at meal times. The home was immaculate
and always smelling fresh. The activity leader always went above and beyond to provide stimulating and enjoyable activities. My friend enjoyed trips out to the lavender fields and also in-house events e.g street party for the Queen's brithday. A very big thank you to all the staff for their care and support.

My granddad has stayed here twice and has received excellent care. The staff are friendly and always make a big fuss of him even when he comes in for coffee mornings. He thoroughly enjoys his time here and is due to come and stay for another 3 weeks. There is a lovely atmosphere and all patients are
treated with dignity and respect. Visiting is a pleasure also for relatives. Also, I work for the ambulance service and have attended a couple of jobs here. The staff always know their patients well and are extremely helpful, compassionate and cooperative. I would highly recommend Tremona Care Home for long or short term stay.

I was looking for a care home for my father for a couple of weeks respite. I walked into Tremona Care Home one morning and received a warm welcome. The manager immediately offered to show me around and was genuinely interested in my father's problems and needs. I was introduced to other staff and we
drank coffee and chatted. I pretty much knew immediately that this was the perfect place for dad to stay. I could just feel the warmth and concern from these lovely people and the home was clean and the wonderful amenities with a lovely atmosphere. Dad is going back to stay for 3 weeks next month. He loves it.

I am happy living here because I am allowed meals in the room if needed. The staff are all very kind and willing to help. When necessary if medical help is needed, it is always available. Cleaning is done daily. Extra staff would be helpful in the mornings for "getting up time".

My mother has been here since April 2016. Although mum is not very well, I believe she is being cared for very well. Tremona Care Home is a very comfortable residential home. Everywhere is very clean. Staff are brilliant. Very caring. Food is not to my Mum's taste. I find Tremona Care Home a very pleasant
home and I feel confident to leave mother in their care.

My mother, aged 86, and who is now suffering quite severe dementia, entered Tremona in October 2015. She was initially there for a trial period of 1 week with a view of permanent residency. From day one she and us as her family have been treated with the utmost respect and dignity through what is a
very disturbing and upsetting time. The staff show care, compassion and professionalism. They clearly like mum. They show genuine care for and towards her. They have all shown commitments to their role in a very positive way. Although mum is not able to fully engage, we feel comfort in the knowledge that she is extremely well cared for and that we as her family can access the home at anytime, without worry or apprehension. Thank you all so much.

I stayed at Tremona shortly after it opened. This was my first stay in a care home and I was a bit worried. My fears were unfounded and the staff were brilliant and made me feel very welcome. I chose a room on the ground floor which had an en-suite shower room and toilet which was very comfortable and
clean, also opposite the residents lounge. The food was nice and being summer I was able to sit outside and enjoy the lovely gardens. My stay was a positive and pleasant experience and I keep in touch by attending the regular events that Tremona invite me to. Prior to my stay I viewed several care homes and I am glad that I chose Tremona.

My mother stayed at Tremona for respite care whilst my husband and I went on holiday. She was naturally apprehensive as this was her first stay in a care home. Tremona had only been open for a couple of months and everything was new and fresh. The friendliness of the staff made mum feel welcome and
at ease. She enjoyed the food and loved the room she occupied. She made friends at the home during her short stay and at regular events that Tremona invite her to attend means that when she returns for a further stay the staff and surroundings will be familiar. Tremona has a nice feel to it and I would highly recommend it to others.

I visit my friend 2-3 times a week the staff are always very friendly and if I have mentioned any problem it has been dealt with straight away. My friend is happy at Tremona but more importantly feels very safe here. The food is served on time on tables that are always nicely made up and never hurried.
Residents feelings and dignity are always top of the staff's list and I would (although a long way off the time) be more than happy to retire to Tremona. If I had one complaint it would be that the wardrobes are far too small to hold summer/winter clothes.

I started to work for B&M Care in 2007 at the original Tremona before transferring to Montrose and then back to Tremona when the home re-opened in 2015. With a genuine passion for delivering a highly-personalised lifestyle to those in the home, my career has seen me ‘rise through the ranks from Senior Care Assistant to my most recent promotion to Home Manager in 2019. Having completed the company’s in-house Management Development Pathway in 2016, other qualifications have since been acquired, including a QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
