Overall Experience

Extremely impressed by the level of service, care and professionalism displayed by all of the staff.
My father stayed for just over a week at a very difficult stage and the comfort provided by all staff was outstanding on all levels - highly surpassing what I have previously encountered at other care

homes!
Would have no question in using this care home again and suggesting it to others.

Overall Experience

The staff are excellent providing all support necessary to the residents and care for their well-being.

The home itself, however, could do with some TLC especially the main lounge, wallpaper ripped and coming away from the wall. It is grubby and drab. The room has a depressive feel for all who use

it - residents, visitors and staff. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it appears to be of no concern to the owner.

Its the room in constant use that lets everything else down. It is the main day lounge and requires the same attention as the resident's receive.

The decorator was booked as soon as we found a letter in our suggestion box. We acted on it immediately, as we do with any of the suggestions made that are reasonable. The only concern we have was regarding your personal comment that it was no concern of the owner. We cannot agree with that remark at all as she has spent over £500.000 getting this building to a high standard of decoration in keeping with that which is allowed in a Grade 2 listed building. If you care to check out the photos you will see and on our facebook page which clearly indicates the days this work was done.

Overall Experience

This is the first time I've been a resident in a home but have previously visited many. Feng Shui House is the cleanest home I've ever seen and experienced with no smells. Residents are nice people and staff are as helpful as its possible to be. Nothing is too much trouble.

Overall Experience

A friendly welcoming home, it actually feels like a home, not a care home. Great management and staff and not what I expected from a care home. Wow!

My mother came to you for respite care in December. What a beautiful place you have the love and care my mother received was outstanding. You made her stay enjoyable. Her room was tastefully decorated and the food was top class. We would not hesitate to contact you again should we need to. Thank you

Overall Experience

My mother received excellent care at the Home, including end of life care. She was treated with great compassion and respect at all times, and her every need was catered for. It was a great relief to the family knowing that she was in such good hands at this very difficult and distressing time of life.

Overall Experience

I bring Communion to 4 residents every week and it is a very enjoyable experience. I enjoy having a chat with the 4 residents. The staff are very welcoming.

Overall Experience

All staff are very helpful and friendly. They have advised which type of room would be most suitable for my mother and she has now settled in her room. The rooms are to a high standard of decor and cleanliness.

Overall Experience

My mum needed permanent full-time care as she was no longer able to look after herself at home after a traumatic couple of years for her. I visited a number of local care homes which more or less were the same but Feng Shui House stood out head and shoulders above all the others and is frankly in a

different league. For me, the most important thing is the quality of care she gets and it is of the highest order. All the staff are brilliant. Not a lot more I can say really.

Overall Experience

Very pleased with the care shown to my sister. Very patient staff who look after her welfare. Hygiene well looked after, looks smart and is of a high standard. Has recently had a pacemaker fitted, a problem that was noticed by the care home. My sister is alive today because of the care shown by the

staff.
