We are happy to announce that we have successfully recruited an events manager who will be starting soon. We have not been as lucky in recruiting a hairdresser or beautician, but we will continue to strive to find both. Meanwhile, we are speaking with another freelance hairdresser for one day a week so that will be three days when hairdressing is on offer.
Unfortunately, the health and social care sector are all suffering recruitment issues but we will continue to fill all our vacancies as soon as possible.

I am the Admin Manager at Cumnor Hill House. I have worked in the health and social care sector for over 17 years. I love the ethos the Berkley Care Group bring in ensuring residents live as independently as they wish while having excellent care and luxury living.
There is a very good management team here and we work closely alongside each other to ensure that the company values are maintained.
My role ranges from assisting with enquiries, communicating with relatives and the staff team, and ensuring the team is well informed and the home’s administration is effectively maintained whilst supporting all departments.

Neal is the Head Chef at Cumnor Hill House and has worked at the home since it opened in 2016.
Neal started his apprenticeship at 15 and has always known that he wanted to be a chef.
