Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible. There are no additional fees
for respite stays.

Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Glastonbury Court and for your kind comments and scores. We understand and completely appreciate that this is a very difficult time for all families and residents, however, our priority has always been the safety of residents and therefore we have always followed Government and public health guidance on how we can allow visits in the safest way. We hope to soon be able to restart the visiting pods and window visits but, in the meantime, Zoom calls are available for all families and residents. It is lovely to see that you are extremely likely to recommend Glastonbury Court and think of it as a great home – our teams work hard to provide care that is personalised to each resident’s needs, wants, likes and dislikes. We do apologise for any issues you have experienced with missing laundry items and have put a new system in place that we hope will reduce any such problems in the future. Thank you for your comments and excellent scores on our dining experience, safety, cleanliness and care. We appreciate all feedback and take residents’ views very seriously on all aspects related to the home. With regards to activities, the lifestyle team support all residents to continue with their own hobbies and interests, as well as providing a schedule of daily activities that are shared on the noticeboards. Our team are always keen for feedback and suggestions, so please do let us know of any ideas or requests you may have for upcoming activities and outings, along with ways in which we can keep you updated on events and activities going on around the home. When I wanted a fresh challenge, I thought I’d explore working for Care UK as I’d heard only positive things about its care ethos and support for its teams. I’m very pleased I did.
I’m passionate about providing the highest standards of care and working with the team to maintain Glastonbury Court’s ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating. Ours is a lovely home to live and work in and it’s a huge privilege to work here and be leading the team. We are always striving for each resident to have a meaningful lifestyle and to fulfil their dreams.
In this role, it’s important to be open and honest, a good listener and treats everyone equally. I enjoy seeing the residents, the team and residents’ families and having a chat and helping to resolve any worries they have.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cycling, travelling abroad and soaking up the sun.
