Westfield House provided excellent standards for my mum. They went out of their way to make her comfortable and welcome. The staff were very caring and friendly and mum was sad to say goodbye to them. She did feel, especially in the activities, that the residents were sometimes spoken to in a childlike
fashion. The food was good generally and sometimes excellent but not always hot enough.

Our mother moved to Westerfield House care home only a few weeks before her death on 22nd June 2016, From the moment she arrived her needs were accurately assessed and monitored by the staff. She was kept clean and warm and the personal care was exceptional. The staff appeared well trained and appropriate,
making the family feel welcome at all times. The care manager informed us of her concerns and informed us when she felt medical care was required. We were always consulted. The facilities are exceptional but it was the great kindness that made us feel we had made the right decision.

Following an accident and hospital stay, with our own home flood damaged, we spent 9 weeks in this wonderful home. From the moment of arrival we were treated with much respect care and friendliness, we felt at home. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to return home restored. Should either
of us even need permanent care we would not hesitate and come here it's really like a 5 star hotel. The furnishings everywhere are lovely and the staff just superb.

From the initial enquiry with the manager, the whole encounter has been A1. The caring nature and thorougher service we received for my dad to have a weeks respite gave us confidence he was to be safe and happy. The care home was spotless, food delicious and you could not get more attentive staff.
The home was heads above any other we had previously seen and my dad will return again within months!! Thank you to the manager and all the staff you were amazing!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Westerfield House. My 101 year old Mother has just enjoyed 1 weeks respite care. She is severely sight-impaired and very deaf but reasonably compos mentis for her age. All the Staff have been wonderful towards her, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. As her
sole carer I have had a much needed rest from the responsibility worry free! I think she is looking forward to her next weeks "holiday" in a couple of months time!!
