Set in a stylish and homely environment, Gower Gardens comprises state-of-the-art, en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with a mini-fridge, telephone points and a flat screen television with Freeview and a DVD player.

Gower Gardens is a wonderful care/nursing home. My mother was accommodated there at very short notice. She was looked after extremely well by very caring and hard working staff. As my father decided he also needed 24/7 care, we moved both of them to another care home who were able to provide accommodation
in a double room. This was the main reason for my mother leaving Gower Gardens who do not provide this option.

My mother had been a resident for 19 months at Gower Gardens care home until her passing in January 2025. In that time, the staff helped her with all of her mobility and medical needs, but most of all, they became friends and helped her to make friends with the other residents. We can not fault the
devotion to duty shown by all the staff, whatever their position, they always had time to help, chat about what mom had been doing, and what she was looking forwards to, they turned a single en suite room into a home that she loved.
The facilities are very clean, modern and well looked after, we would have no hesitation to give them the highest recommendation possible as we can not thank them enough for my mother's care and well being.

It's a very welcoming, clean, bright residential home. The staff are very helpful and friendly. One does not look far when assistance is needed. Very impressed with the decor. On appearance of the home, it's more like a comfortable upmarket hotel than a residence for the elderly. Would recommend the
home without hesitation.

I am writing to say a very big thank you to you and all the team for your help and hard work in making our relative's birthday party so successful.
She looked lovely in her new dress, her room was already decorated with her 90 banners - the quiet lounge looked so welcoming with the banners and
the tables set out and the cake was a real success with everyone.
I know that all of this is additional work for your staff but they did an excellent job with kindness and enthusiasm. Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to all the team.

Generally good, although the quality and variety of the food comes up fairly frequently. Not only with my relative but with other savvy residents as well.
Specific is the lack of vegetable variety and general temperature of food.
The sweets range could also be improved, The other day a single cupcake
was served up on its own, with no plate no extras no custard or cream. That should be improved upon, both in quality and presentation.
No other specifics.

We are very happy with the excellent continued care and support given to my mother-in-law. We are kept up to date with any needs she requires. The whole team look smart and welcoming and always answer any questions we have.
The variety of events is amazing, I get regular pictures and although Mom doesn't
always take part there's a lovely atmosphere.
Gower Gardens is so well run and this is thanks to a great team.

Mom is happy in Gower Gardens, the staff are attentive and she loves homemade food. The staff always keeps us informed of events and moms' welfare. Lots of events happening and the bathrooms are good.

My sister went to Gowe Gardens in May. To start with, it was for respite after coming out of hospital but after 3 months, she decided it would be better for her to stay in and be looked after permanently. As a family, we are more than pleased with the care she gets.

Gower Gardens is a beautiful care home. There is a lovely atmosphere when you walk in. The staff are friendly and caring towards Mum, and to me, as a visitor. It is so clean and relaxed, with beautiful rooms and surrounding areas outside. Because Mum now needs twenty-four-hour care, I'm glad she is
receiving it in Gower Gardens, knowing she is safe, looked after well and happy.

I was quite worried and apprehensive about leaving my 101-year-old mum. As soon as we walked in the lady in reception smiled and after explaining about my mum, she couldn't have been more understanding and fetched another member of staff to come and have a chat. Again she couldn't have been kinder and
showed us around. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and all staff smiled and spoke. At the Sports Day that day, it was such a joy to see! The care they give is outstanding and in my opinion, the staff are all Angels! I would have no hesitation in recommending Gower Gardens to anyone who is feeling unsure about leaving their loved one.

My Mother was a resident here for four years. She had Vascular Dementia. Throughout her stay, firstly on the ground floor and then later up on the top floor, she was well-cared for and encouraged to make Gower Gardens her home. The care and support shown by all staff, front and behind the scenes was
wonderful. Mom's dementia could be very upsetting for her and my family, and the compassion given to us - a hug, a cuppa, and a chat - was always on offer. Whenever any need arose, all were assessed and actioned immediately by the dedicated staff, and we were included in all decisions made. The home has recently been refurbished, and activities for residents greatly increased, I and my family would not hesitate to recommend Gower Gardens.

Very friendly and helpful staff very clean and inviting rooms and food looked excellent.
Overall would recommend highly. Seemed to have lots of entertainment and very varied. The day I visited residents were sitting outside and they all seemed happy and contented.

Overall I am happy with the care provided from Gower Gardens. The staff are very attentive and happy in their care for all residents. Mum is dressed and coordinated with her necklace on as she would have been before the dementia and is treated with respect and dignity. I'm really pleased with the support

Friendly and efficient care home. Very clean, excellent facilities. Came to our rescue when Dad needed to leave hospital at short notice - thank you for this and to one member of staff in particular for coming out to the hospital to carry out an assessment.

My Mother and Father have been at Gower Gardens since May 2024. It's been a fairly traumatic time but thankfully they couldn't be in better hands. The staff, every single one of them, have been kind, caring and fun. There were some dark days with my Father and his mental health, but I will never forget
the compassion from members of the staff who were there supporting him.
I often stay for food with my parents and I can say the kitchen goes the extra mile to create delicious food. I also hear from other residents and resident's families how much they like Gower Gardens.
Thank you so much to all the staff at Gower Gardens, I couldn't recommend it more highly.

My mother who was 98 then came to Gower Gardens for two weeks respite in July 2023. Although she stated, "I am only stopping a week". At the end of the two weeks, it was decided to make the move from her home permanent. Everyone from the manager to the receptionist, carers, entertainment staff, kitchen
staff, laundry lady, cleaners and the maintenance man, have all been most welcoming helpful and kind. To be honest she is having the time of her life. She loves all the activities especially the arts and crafts run by the team. She makes badges flowers and bracelets, paints cooking and crumbles, cakes and pizzas. She plays dominoes and bingo and enjoys the singing, tea and coffee mornings, and best of all chatting with her new friends at the dinner table. She loves all the meals, and when I visit tells me when it is dinner or tea time. Thank you everyone at Gower Gardens for looking after my mom.
