With a team of highly trained, dedicated carers, the home offers 24-hour high quality, residential/nursing care, supporting individuals to live full lives with dignity and respect.

Set in a stylish and homely environment, Gower Gardens comprises state-of-the-art, en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with a mini-fridge, telephone points and a flat screen television with Freeview and a DVD player.

The home offers a variety of onsite facilities including hairdressing, a cinema room and WiFi throughout the building.

The home organises a full programme of activities throughout the week. The landscaped gardens provide a delightful environment for sunny days or to look out onto from the six lounges.

From the initial meeting with a member of staff who carried out a review of my dad's needs which led to us choosing Gower Gardens. My dad has been treated with care and dignity by all members of staff. The care and support they give are excellent, we are always informed if Dad is unwell and a doctor
has been called to see him. Members of staff are always happy to talk about Dad's needs. To date, I can find no fault with Gower Gardens and its staff.

Gower Gardens look after my mother-in-law very well. The staff are all lovely, friendly and helpful. The seniors are all knowledgeable and proactive when looking after my mother-in-law.
My mother-in-law feels safe being looked after in Gower Gardens and after a bad fall at home, this is important both
to her and to us.
We, as visitors, are always made to feel welcome and our thoughts and concerns important to the staff at every level.

Gower Gardens is lovely to visit and live in. All the staff have time to say hello and keep you up to date about your relative's care. If you have any issues, the manager is always happy to see you and if not immediately available, she will get back to you.

Dad was well looked after in Gower Gardens Care Home. Everyone from the manager, the care team, entertainment staff, caterers and cleaners were very helpful and polite and couldn't do enough to help. I felt well informed when Dad had problems or medical issues and communication was excellent. The home
is very clean, well maintained and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend this home.

I visit once a week for about an hour. Staff are pleasant to me and my friend, sometimes providing refreshments. Christmas activities were good, but the TV in the main lounge seems to be just left on regardless of the programme and was not engaging the residents despite being very loud. Shortage of
staff has had a negative effect on my friend - morning rise and bedtimes late and loss of mobility. She has to wait for two carers to be moved and no longer uses her walking frame independently.

My great-aunt was a resident here for five years. The day of her funeral I had a puncture in my car, 10 minutes before the cars took us to the church. The next day the staff were amazing, supporting me to fix my tyre. My aunt was very comfortable at Gower Gardens Care Home, she was looked after well
and this has been very reassuring for me as I live overseas! Thank you for all that you've done for my auntie.

I have attended Kingsley's meeting for residents and families since Gower Gardens transferred to Kingsley Healthcare. Several of the commitments made have not been realised e.g. staff on reception during the weekend (can be a long wait to be let in). Also, all residents to have key workers that families
can correspond with during the week. It is difficult to find a member of staff who provides relevant information. Quality of food fluctuates, despite being told that residents would be provided with a monthly nutritional menu. Overall, staff do try to be helpful when approached. Activities are varied and updated.

Mum moved into Gower Gardens in February 2020 and we've been very happy with her care. Sadly, the Covid lockdown and subsequent restrictions have meant that we can't spend time with her in the lounge or visiting rooms, we hope this will change soon.

I am the Deputy Manager at Gower Gardens. I have a very rich background, with over a decade of experience in the care industry and became the Deputy Manager here at Gower Gardens in 2021. I am very passionate and committed to providing person-centred care, creating a sense of being one big family within Gower Gardens. Job Title: Hospitality Host

I am the Hospitality Manager here at Gower Gardens and absolutely love my role here. I like to meet new people and build good relationships with our residents, families and welcome anyone into our home. I manage and address all new enquiries into the home. I started off as a receptionist for Gower Gardens in 2021 and worked my way up to Hospitality Manager in 2023 due to my dedication and attention to detail.


In my spare time, I like to be with my family and we like to go to Somerset and walk our dog along the beach.
