Although my review is only based upon 1 week in care for my mother, the build up to that has been a factor in my comments. The home is newly opened, as expected it's very clean, modern with top end facilities so these are a given at this stage.
The important part aside from this is the care. The care
thus far has been excellent. The attention to my mother's details and the dignified approach taken towards her is excellent. The new staff so far are excellent so at the moment we are all as a family. Very impressed and happy with my mum's future in Gracewell.

I have over 20 years of experience as a nurse and five years of experience in management.


I joined Care UK because I believe its reputation for providing the highest quality care complements my commitment to providing compassionate and individualised care.


I’ve enjoyed a varied career, having worked as a care assistant, nurse and deputy manager, which means I have a good skill set when it comes to leading the team.


As a leader, I value honesty and transparency and maintain an open-door policy at all times. I believe it’s important to be understanding and open-minded while also being knowledgeable and a fast learner.


I’m proud to make a difference in the lives of residents and colleagues at Tennyson Grange. I find it so rewarding when I see that residents are happy and well looked after and team members are engaged and cheerful.


I look forward to leading and empowering a team dedicated to learning and improving the quality of life for residents at Tennyson Grange. I also look forward to developing good working relationships with relatives, commissioning bodies and the CQC.
