Our mum has been at manor Grange for 7 months. The home has been excellent in ensuring both her medical and well being needs are met. There is a wide range of activities for her to choose to take part in. We were surprised to see this includes weekends and holidays such as Christmas Day! The home has
a lovely community for both the residents and their families/Friends. I would have no hesitation in recommending to friends for the in love ones.

The staff are always smiling and take the time to ensure that my partner is listened to and cared for. The activities are excellent with the staff encouraging participation. Manor Grange is an exceptional home for my partner, and I am secure in the knowledge that his care is excellent and he is safe.

My partner entered Manor Grange Edinburgh on 22.8.24 and passed away on 22.1.25.
In that time she was comfortable and well cared for. The care she received from all the staff was excellent and everything I could have hoped for.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care staff and the nurses. My partner
passed quicker than I expected when she went into the home but the staff made sure that her last months were comfortable and content.

Excellent. My mum has been a resident for over 2.5 years and we have experienced consistent great care over that period. All the staff (whether direct care staff or ancillary/administrative) are friendly, welcoming, caring and professional. It is always lively and the whole environment makes you feel
that the home is more like a family who together provide the best service they can. Thoroughly recommend Manor Grange Care Home.

This morning I was visiting a resident with you and I have to compliment all the staff that I came into contact with. Unfair to single anyone out, as everyone deserves praise, but one staff member in particular was lovely, welcoming and so helpful. Also, another staff member was kind, caring, friendly
and as I said to him, his smile was infectious.
Both are a credit and must be such an asset to your team. The environment was professional, clean and very happy.

My mum has been a resident in Manor Grange for a few months now. She has settled well due to the home being very welcoming with lovely, friendly staff and an excellent manager who has made sure my mum is safe and comfortable.
There is always a calm and pleasant atmosphere and I'm pleased that Mum engages
with some of the activities and enjoys the company of new faces.
The staff are considerate and allow mum her daily routine which gives her confidence and helps her feel her best.
It is a bright, cosy, modern facility which is so well maintained and we are always kept well-informed by the staff. I feel very fortunate to know Mum is in a lovely environment and highly recommend Manor Grange.

My dad moved to Manor Grange in 2022. We were very nervous about the move but staff immediately made us feel at home and answered my long list of questions thoroughly.
There is so much to do daily at Manor Grange, my dad doesn't have time to get bored. He's out waking, out for trips in the care home's
car, attending men's group or at one of the other activities run by staff.
Rooms are well equipped with furniture, chairs etc and feel very homely. The garden is amazing and means we can enjoy the outdoors without venturing too far away.
Staff are kind and it feels like they really care about the residents and their well-being. They feel like an extended family after 2 years.
The care home has a fine dining room which as a family we use regularly to host birthday parties and family gatherings. It takes away all the stress as we know carers are nearby if we need them.
My dad has made friends and is safe and well looked after at Manor Grange. I highly recommend this care home.

The resident, my friend, a 97-year-old lady, diagnosed with dementia entered Manor Grange in January 2023. This decision was taken after much thought and with some trepidation. However, after almost 2 years of residency, she has never regretted her decision. She is now very settled, comfortable, and
well looked after by a very caring staff in a lovely setting. The home itself is well maintained and there is a wide range of activities organised for residents every day. All her friends comment on how much happier she is compared to her time living at home without proper care and attention. We all agree, as does the Resident, that the decision to move into Manor Grange should have been made at least two years earlier. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!
I am her appointed Power of Attorney.

My mother, a resident, had to attend a long-awaited dental appointment which I was unable to take her. Her mobility and anxiety are a challenge. A carer from Manor Grange went with her and reassured her, supporting all her needs. I followed up with the dental practice after and they made a point of
letting me know how compassionate and supportive the young man was, talking to her and reassuring her all the time.

My mother has been a resident at Manor Grange for over a year now, during which time she has been made very comfortable and well looked after by all the staff. The friendly staff have gone out of their way to keep the family well informed and have answered any queries that we have had. The home itself
(and grounds) are kept spotless and a wide range of facilities and variable daily activities are available to the residents. Can't recommend Manor Grange and its staff highly enough.

Manor Grange provides truly outstanding care for our mother. We looked at lots of care homes to find the right one for Mum and the warm, caring and welcoming environment at Manor Grange suited Mum perfectly. The management and staff are amazing and are always very friendly and responsive. A great activities
programme means there is always something interesting going on and Mum has especially enjoyed joining in with all of these. A beautiful setting overlooking a golf course and an extensive garden is also a massive positive. Highly recommend for your loved one.

Mum has been a resident for 20 months and the care without exception has been exemplary, the carers at Manor Grange are fantastic and are completely focused on the needs of the residents. The interaction and bond between residents and carers is so natural and knowing that this high level of care is

Staff are so friendly kind and caring and the events organised are brilliant.

The moment that I walked in the door of Manor Grange Care Home and saw the smiles from the residents and carers alike, I knew that this was the right place for my wife. On first arrival, when met by the unit manager and her team, my wife responded verbally for the first time in six months. My wife was
relaxed and happy to be home in Edinburgh. Thank you to the manager and especially the deputy manager for bringing her home so that she could be at peace at last.

Dad has been treated with care and dignity since moving to Manor Grange. Most staff members will take time to char and acknowledge him. There are activities he can enjoy and join in with. The catering is good and the host very welcoming. My only observation would be that there could be more care staff
around to help. Also with the number of dementia residents, more specific training could be provided for their care and wellbeing.

We are happy to say we have no problems with staff levels, however when visiting, staff do tend to leave relatives and residents to enjoy their time together but if you need anything at any time, please just ask. I would like reassure you, all our staff have to complete minimum three dementia courses each year, to ensure residents living with dementia, receive the appropriate support and person-centred care.
