Short visit over to see Mum. Manor Granfe is really a different class. The staff are so helpful and attend to my mum well. Mum is doing so great. We have not been over for a while, so it's good to see Mum looking well and enjoying activities, and a must for Mum, tea and cake.

My father-in-law entered Manor Grange after having been admitted to the hospital three times in six weeks, and his home care team wasn't coping at home. During this time, he lost weight. His dementia seemed more advanced, and his mobility was very poor. Four months later, he looks well, moving well,
and his cognition has improved so much that he is back using his mobile to call family and comments that it's like having a conversation with him ten years ago! His sense of humour has also returned. We have Dad back - all down to care and activities at Manor Grange.

My wife, an Alzheimer's sufferer, has been in Manor Grange Care Home since April 2023. She has settled in well which was greatly helped by the friendly and helpful attitude of all the staff. She now happily refers to Manor Grange as "home" and waves me off when I depart. The staff and management have
been very supportive to me as well. The staff have been very efficient and professional when dealing with medical or behavioural issues arising from the Alzheimer's.

My mum has been in Manor Grange for 8 months and has Dementia and Alzheimer's. The staff really make you feel welcome and this is emphasised in the care and variety of activities provided. Nothing is perfect in this world and the staff are always willing to take suggestions onboard to make things better.
The management team are key to this and all the staff are always willing to chat, and provide updates.
The care home is always a friendly place with staff being attentive to the residents with a well-organised 7-day-a-week activities program to provide not only stimulation but also fun! Providing opportunities for residents to help with day-to-day tasks around the home is also a very welcome feature.

Very happy with how Mum has settled into Manor Grange Care Home. Staff have been so supportive to both family and Mum. The atmosphere within the home is both relaxed and caring. Arrived on Thursday the 13th of April, Mum was in the lounge enjoying the exercise class and singing along. She looks fabulous. Skin is so good now. The staff are always happy to chat and let me know what has been happening. So happy my mum is in Manor Grange Care Home. Two years of good care and Mum

My mum has been recently very ill within Manor Grange and since then the care home team have excelled themselves at providing care and attention over and above what would be expected. Even providing entertainment within her room to help rehabilitate her. The team show so much care and love to my mum,

I moved my husband to Manor Grange from another care home. He settled immediately into his new routine quickly and is now content and showing a marked improvement in his health. He seems happier and less anxious due to the consistent caring and professional assistance provided by the nurses and carers.
The happy atmosphere provided by all the staff, and the activities team makes Manor Grange a happy place. The management team are very visible and happy to help. I know he is now being well cared for.

Dad's dementia came on quickly followed by Alzheimer’s. We kept him at home as long as we could but had to look for options. We looked at 3 homes but Manor Grange shone above the rest. From the minute we walked in the process was pleasant and easy. The manager talked through the process and spent time
on a tour, with no pressure whatsoever. Moving Dad in was difficult but made so much easier by the staff. Despite the challenges of COVID, they were friendly, courteous and treated him like a guest. Dad has now been a resident for 3 months - he is settled, well-fed, comfortable and above all, safe. We are also reassured he is in very good hands. The team are brilliant - I get regular calls updating me on his condition and I am always looked after when I phone up or pop in. Dad is in a much better place and is doing very well. His bedroom, the facilities, the atmosphere and the staff make this feel more like a hotel than a care home. We rest easy knowing he is very well cared for.

My dad has been a resident since the beginning of the year and due to circumstances, it wasn't until October I was able to visit him. I was so impressed with the staff and facility. The staff are genuinely engaged with the residents and care deeply about their well being. The facility is lovely and
very well kept. My dad is being very well cared for and get lots of attention. Knowing he is getting such excellent care there makes not having him at home more bearable. Thank you to all of the staff. You do excellent work.

As a former care home mystery shopper, I can say with confidence this is the nicest home I have ever been in. In fact, it feels like my father-in-law's home. Great culture and clear genuine concern for the people you look after. Thank you is not enough. Our family are so grateful for your professional
but non-clinical care. A great team! The only suggestion I would have is a small fridge in each room.

I have worked in the care sector for 20 years, I started off as a Carer at TOR nursing home and then moved to the Laundry, when TOR closed I moved to Manor Grange along with the residents. While working at Manor Grange I was promoted to Head Housekeeper, my job role consists of leading the housekeeping team and ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness are maintained within both cleaning and laundry. I also liaise with Residents & Relatives to help identify and resolve any problems which may occur.

I have extensive experience working in both Domiciliary Care and Residential Care as a Senior Care Assistant as well as an Activity Coordinator and I hold my SVQ Level 3 in Social Care for Adults. My role which I adore is very diverse and as well as planning daily activities I also organise many special events throughout the year and always am “cooking up” some new ideas. I enjoy building strong relationships with both Residents and Relatives. I lead a small but growing team of Activities staff who are all dedicated to bringing joy to our Residents. I can honestly say that Manor Grange is the best place I have worked in, we are a big family and this is “Home” and not “A Home”.
