The manager leads a very committed and caring
As a dementia unit, they fully understand the challenges and recognise everyone is an individual so should have personal care to suit their needs.
Going ABCD with staff like a certain care assistance, taking a real interest in mum and to a certain senior care assistant and the manager giving up part of their Saturday to bring mum to her granddaughter's wedding! This is a special home!

Hi, my name is Lisa and I have worked for Anchor for 15 years but have worked in the health and social care sector for 25 years.
Before becoming the manager at Oulton Manor in December 2022, I worked at Millfield care home in Manchester. During the 14 years I was there, I progressed from team leader to home manager and lead the home successfully for 4 years.
I am very passionate about elderly care and believe everybody deserves quality living. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time hiking, wild swimming and travelling.
I am really looking forward to steering our home forward to achieve its best potential and delivering excellent care to all those who choose to live at Oulton Manor.

I have been an administrator in the care industry for over ten years and have 25 years experience in total in the sector. Oulton Manor is like my second family, I have worked here since September 2018. I am extremely passionate about supporting people living in a residential setting and have a personal interest in Dementia and Alzheimer’s care due to my own family member’s diagnosis. When I am not working I love going on long walks, I enjoy reading and when I really want to let my hair down I love a good dance and sing-song!

In November 2024 I was appointed as a Deputy Manager working alongside the Home Manager to ensure safe, well-led, effective and responsive care and compliance throughout the home. Caring is a vocation for me and cannot imagine doing anything else. When I am not at work I love spending time with my family; I have two granddaughters whom I adore. To relax I enjoy shopping and holidays abroad.

Hello I’m Susie, I joined Oulton Manor in January 2025. I am trained in complementary therapies and have had my own business for several years. I’ve always connected really well with the older generation and am passionate about people living well. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my son and husband; we are a very musical family and go to lots of gigs together.

I've worked in the care sector for over 16 years and have been an employee at Oulton Manor for nearly 9 years. I started out as a care assistant working my way to team leader and I am now the hospitality manager. The thing I enjoy the most is spending time with the residents and their relatives. I've even been labelled as "the best bar man in the world" by one of the wonderful people who live here.
Outside of work I enjoy travelling and going to the gym. I am an avid Everton supporter and recently slept out at Goodison Park to raise money and awareness of the homeless.
